Primer día de clases en segundo
Las clases en Venezuela, nuestro país de origen, comenzaron un nuevo ciclo en la fecha de tres de octubre, hoy es Noviembre, sólo hasta hoy mi pequeña inicia su asistencia al nuevo año escolar, todo debido a una situación familiar que nos obligó a estar en otro estado, lo que obviamente no me permitía cumplir con este derecho de mi hija.
No poder llevarla al colegio me tenía bastante contrariada como representante, por lo cual me comuniqué con las autoridades y directiva para hacerles saber la situación en la que nos encontrábamos. Justo el día martes de la semana pasada logré entregar los justificativos médicos y soportes para que Haniel pudiera tener el derecho de sus recuperativos y asistir con normalidad. Obviamente la receptividad se dio con un poco de roce pero bien entre todo.
Es responsabilidad de nosotros los padres que nuestros pequeños cumplan con la asistencia escolar, así como velar de que ellos tengan transporte idóneo para ir y regresar del colegio seguros, e igual que tengan sus meriendas escolares nutritivas, además de todo lo necesario en cuanto a uniformes y útiles. Es cierto, no es fácil todo a la vez, por lo cual nos debemos planificar siempre.
First day of classes in second grade
Classes in Venezuela, our country of origin, began a new cycle on the third of October, today is November, only today my little girl begins her attendance to the new school year, all due to a family situation that forced us to be in another state, which obviously did not allow me to fulfill this right of my daughter.
Not being able to take her to school had me quite upset as a representative, so I contacted the authorities and board of directors to let them know the situation we were in. Just on Tuesday of last week I managed to deliver the medical justifications and supports so that Haniel could have the right to her recuperations and attend normally. Obviously, the receptivity was a little bit of a struggle, but all in all, it was a good thing.
It is the responsibility of us parents that our children comply with school attendance, as well as ensuring that they have adequate transportation to and from school safely, and also that they have their nutritious school snacks, as well as everything they need in terms of uniforms and supplies. It is true, it is not easy to do everything at once, so we must always plan ahead.
Lo que realmente celebro hoy es la sonrisa de mi hija en compañía de su abuelo esperando el transporte escolar, emocionada de que a pesar de todas las contrariedades vividas hoy comenzamos un nuevo ciclo de formación académica y escolar. Un poco de temor que me manifestó la noche anterior, pero el entusiasmo de la mañana renueva la fe.
En definitiva a nosotros los padres nos llena la vida de orgullo y alegría al ver casa paso de nuestros nenes. Hoy es el primer día de clases en segundo, pero para mí es el día más importante hoy, como cada día de mi pequeña; y estoy segura que como a cada padre en los eventos de sus hijos. La vida de mamá es así, es alegría con cada nuevo comienzo y esperanza de que todo vaya bien.
Las horas han pasado lentas desde la mañana, sólo quiero que vuelva del colegio para escucharla contar toda la nueva experiencia, porque desde hoy se suman esos detalles que nos harán la vida más linda. Nunca dudé que todo pasaría, y aunque quedan pasos firmes por dar un inicio siempre es bueno para encadenar las actividades y continuar la vida.
Mi alegría se hace presente, mi vida de mamá es ese aliciente que cura heridas. Mañana quizá, hablaré en mis líneas de los paisajes o del mundo, hoy solo quiero expresar esta alegría de la responsabilidad y el amor en un nuevo paso que la vida nos repite en nuestros hijos. Mi mayor consejo es enfocarnos en hacer sentir a nuestros pequeños la seguridad de que podrán con todo porque cada meta pequeña nos lleva al logro idealizado del mañana.
Bendiciones desde acá a todos los papis y mamis que al igual que yo, o quizá diferente, pero que vivimos un primer día de clases por segunda vez en nuestras vidas, ahora en la sonrisa de los niños.

What I really celebrate today is the smile of my daughter in the company of her grandfather waiting for school transportation, excited that despite all the setbacks experienced today we begin a new cycle of academic and school training. A little fear that she expressed to me the night before, but the enthusiasm of the morning renews our faith.
In short, it fills us parents with pride and joy to see our children's home. Today is the first day of classes in second grade, but for me it is the most important day today, like every day of my little girl; and I am sure that like every parent in the events of their children. Mom's life is like that, it's joy with every new beginning and hope that everything goes well.
The hours have passed slowly since the morning, I just want her to come back from school to listen to her tell all the new experience, because from today we add those details that will make our life more beautiful. I never doubted that everything would happen, and although there are still firm steps to take a start is always good to chain the activities and continue life.
My joy is present, my life as a mom is that incentive that heals wounds. Tomorrow perhaps, I will talk in my lines about the landscapes or the world, today I just want to express this joy of responsibility and love in a new step that life repeats to us in our children. My greatest advice is to focus on making our little ones feel confident that they will be able to accomplish everything because each small goal leads us to the idealized achievement of tomorrow.
