Hoy el día ha iniciado de una manera muy especial, pero también cargada de nostalgia. Hoy fue el último primer día de Miranda en primaria, ya que el próximo año escolar inicia la secundaria, así que definitivamente fue lindo, sobre todo para mí como mamá al ver a mi niña tan grande ya, súper lejos de esa pequeñita de casi tres que inició hace unos años su educación preescolar.
Siento que el tiempo ha pasado volando, y es que es el último año de Miranda con camisa blanca, y de hecho para mis dos chicos el próximo año cambiará el color de su camisa, ya que Matías pasa a 4to año, y en nuestro país, los chicos de educación media o preparatoria, usan camisa beige, y los de secundaria, pasan de camisa blanca a una azul, así que es un año especial para nuestra familia, ya que es el primer día de este ciclo lleno de cambios para ellos y nosotros.
Miranda, por su parte, inició hoy (mañana le corresponde a Matías), y estaba súper feliz y ansiosa de volver a clases, se moría por ver a sus amigas y compartir con sus compañeros, y como saben, teníamos días al trote organizando todo para este inicio a clases, y hoy finalmente llegó el gran día.
Sus amigas le enviaron mensajes bien temprano para decirle que ya estaban listas para ir al colegio, y por supuesto yo tenía que acompañarla en el inicio de esta gran aventura.
El colegio estaba decorado con globos y los niños muy emocionados por estar con sus compañeros de nuevo, y yo aproveché para pasar un ratito y tomar una foto a Miranda con su amiga Nicoll nada más, porque su otra compi, Ashley, no había llegado todavía, y como ven en sus caritas estaban felices de reencontrarse.
Para Miranda, este nuevo año fue mucho más significativo porque ya estaba decidido que los cambiaríamos de colegio, pero a última hora, y faltando solo tres días para el inicio a clases, las cosas cambiaron gracias a Dios, y no fue necesario moverlos de colegio, así que sin dudas fue mucho más especial para ella.
Espero que este año pueda disfrutarlo un montón, ya que la secundaria es mucho más exigente y es una etapa cargada de grandes cambios en todos los sentidos. Así que le deseo un año escolar súper divertido, de mucho aprendizaje y compañerismo, y lo mismo, por supuesto, para cada uno de sus pequeños que da inicio a un nuevo año escolar.
Today started off in a very special way, but also loaded with nostalgia. Today was Miranda's last first day of elementary school, since next school year she starts high school, so it was definitely nice, especially for me as a mom to see my little girl so big already, super far away from that little girl of almost three who started her preschool education a few years ago.
I feel that time has flown by, and it is Miranda's last year with a white shirt, and in fact for my two boys next year the color of their shirt will change, since Matías is going to 4th grade, and in our country, middle school or high school boys wear beige shirts, and high school boys go from white to blue shirts, so it is a special year for our family, since it is the first day of this cycle full of changes for them and for us.
Miranda, on the other hand, started today (tomorrow is Matías' turn), and she was super happy and anxious to go back to school, she was dying to see her friends and share with her classmates, and as you know, we had been jogging for days organizing everything for the beginning of school, and today finally came the big day.
Her friends sent her messages early in the morning to tell her that they were ready to go to school, and of course I had to join her in the beginning of this great adventure.
The school was decorated with balloons and the kids were very excited to be with their classmates again, and I took the opportunity to spend a little while and take a picture of Miranda with her friend Nicoll only, because her other classmate, Ashley, had not arrived yet, and as you can see in their faces they were happy to meet again.
For Miranda, this new year was much more significant because it was already decided that we would change schools, but at the last minute, and with only three days to go before the start of classes, things changed thank God, and it was not necessary to move them to another school, so without a doubt it was much more special for her.
I hope she can enjoy this year a lot, since high school is much more demanding and it is a stage full of big changes in every way. So I wish her a super fun school year, with lots of learning and fellowship, and the same, of course, for each of her little ones as they start a new school year.
