The school project assigned for this period, to all grades of the school 🏫 where my daughter studies, is about "Robotics". They must work with different types of robotics, however before the final presentation, students will build their own experiences and opinions on the topic.

It was not easy to explain robotics to children for the first time and even for many parents it was a complicated topic. This is a topic that requires time, practice, lived experiences, in short, commitment is required so that students really awaken interest in these technologies, and not only from school, but also from home.

Recently Dariana and I were working on an exhibition about robotics, I had to use resources, whether mental maps, conceptual maps or whatever was most dynamic at the time of the presentation. We went for mental maps, and although at school they did not explain what mental and conceptual maps are so well, at home we prepared ourselves with those points.

We spent a whole day creating the mind map on a sheet of paper, or rather my daughter made it. I try as much as possible for her to do these things on her own, and where she requires my intervention I will be present, more than anything to clarify her doubts.

The idea is for her to be more independent when doing her work, and not depend on me to do her school activities, that's where we start.

In the next few days there will be practices on this topic, the intention is to awaken the interest of children in school, and although my daughter still does not understand many things, I hope she understands the importance of Robotics from school age to life. El proyecto escolar asignado para éste periodo, a todos los grados de la escuela 🏫 donde estudia mi niña, es sobre la "Robótica". Deben trabajar con diferentes tipos de robótica, sin embargo antes de la presentación final, los estudiantes iran construyendo sus propias experiencias y opiniones sobre el tema.

No estuvo fácil explicarle a los niños sobre la robótica por primera vez y hasta para muchos padres fue un tema complicado. Éste es un tópico que requiere tiempo, práctica, experiencias vivas, en fin, se requiere compromiso para que los estudiantes realmente despierten el interés sobre estás tecnologías, y no solo desde la escuela, sino también desde el hogar.

Hace poco Dariana y yo estuvimos trabajando en una exposición sobre la robótica, debía utilizar recursos, bien sea mapas mentales, conceptuales o lo que fuera más dinámico a la hora de la presentación. Nos fuimos por los mapas mentales, y aunque en el colegio no le explicaron tan bien lo que son mapas mentales y conceptuales en casa nos preparamos con esos puntos.

Estuvimos todo un día elaborando el mapa mental en una lamina de papel, o más bien mi niña lo realizó. Trato en la medida de lo posible que ella haga por si sola estás cosas, y dónde requiera de mi intervención allí estaré presente, más que todo para aclarar sus dudas.

La idea es que ella sea más independiente a la hora de realizar sus trabajos, y que no dependa de mi para realizar sus actividades escolares, por allí se comienza.

En los próximos días se realizarán prácticas sobre éste tema, la intención es despertar el interés de los niños en la escuela, y aunque mi hija sigue sin entender muchas cosas, espero que comprenda la importancia de la Robótica desde la edad escolar para la vida.
