Cuando leí que el reto era que contaramos cual fue el momento mas oscuro y horrible que hemos pasado como padres sin duda alguna paso por mi mente el día que le diagnosticaron a mi hija kawasaki.

When I read that the challenge was for us to tell what was the darkest and most horrible moment that we have experienced as parents, without a doubt some flashed through my mind the day they showed my daughter Kawasaki.
Una mañana de un sábado mi hija Andrea que tenía 15 meses en ese entonces le dió una fiebre repentina que aún con medicamento no le bajaba, así paso todo el fin de semana, ya para el lunes aparte de la fiebre estaba comenzando un sarpullido por lo que decidí llevarla al ambulatorio a que la examinarán y me dieran un diagnostico para poderla tratar.
Cuando llegamos como presentaba fiebre la inyectaron para bajársela y al examinarla me dijeron que posiblemente era una intoxicación, quizás por algo que había comido, me dieron la receta y nos fuimos a casa.
Debo confensarle que no me gustó la atención y yo tenías mis dudas con el diagnóstico porque en la noche veía que Andrea no mejoraba más bien estaba empeorando, el sarpullido se había extendido por todo su cuerpo y sus ojos estaban rojizos por lo que decidimos llevarla a la clínica con su pediatra al día siguiente.

Gracias a Dios y al doctor, Andrea pudo recibir su tratamiento que era una dosis intravenosa de inmunoglobulina, estuvo hospitalizada cinco largos días.
Fueron días de terror los que pasamos con Andrea que sólo cuando finalmente la examino el cardiologo y nos dijo que todo estaba normal es que pudimos estar tranquilos.
