Tenía días con ganas de compartirles esta publicación, sin embargo, de alguna u otra manera se me complicaba terminar de escribirla, lo bueno es que ya puedo compartirles mi experiencia enfrentándonos a los cambios de ambiente ante un nuevo colegio y los diferentes retos que esto conlleva.

Antes de iniciar las clases ya le había comentado a mi hija Esther que estudiaría en una escuela nueva, incluso ya lo habíamos hablado muchísimo antes de terminar las clases en su antigua escuela por el hecho que nos quedaba muy lejos y ella a mitad de camino se cansaba y el nuevo colegio nos queda muy cerca de la casa.

No había podido conseguir cupo en esta escuela porque cada vez que iba a realizar la inscripción de mi hija no había cupo, así que para este último nivel de estudio decidí adelantarme en todo para lograr obtener el cupo, y así fue una vez inscrita le di seguridad a mi hija de que estaría en este nuevo colegio, ella se emocionó mucho porque está más cerca y también porque su primo estudia allí y a ella le hace ilusión compartir la misma casa de estudio.

I had days wanting to share this post with you, however, somehow or another it was complicated for me to finish writing it, the good thing is that I can now share with you my experience facing the changes of environment before a new school and the different challenges that this entails.

Before starting classes I had already told my daughter Esther that she would study in a new school, we had even talked about it a lot before finishing classes in her old school because it was very far away and she would get tired half way and the new school is very close to our house.

I had not been able to get a place in this school because every time I went to enroll my daughter there was no place, so for this last level of study I decided to get ahead in everything to get the place, and so it was once enrolled I gave my daughter security that she would be in this new school, she was very excited because it is closer and also because her cousin studies there and she is excited to share the same house of study.

Si les soy sincera me daba ciertos nervios 🥴 porque no sabía cómo sería el comportamiento de Esther en su proceso de adaptación, es un horario diferente, una maestra distinta, compañeros distintos, así que era todo un reto, creo que más para mí que para ella.

Al iniciar las clases ya iba mentalizada en que cualquier cosa podía suceder, cuando la estaba alistando para ese primer día de clases ella estaba feliz y emocionada, así que eso me daba esperanza de que todo fluiría bien.

Al llegar al nuevo colegio estaba contenta por sus nuevos compañeros y que por fin compartiría con su nueva maestra. Esther se ha caracterizado por ser una buena niña en el colegio, muy sociable, cariñosa y obediente, así que esos mismos atributos se desarrollarán en esta nueva etapa 😊

Al dejarla en el aula de clases me despedí de ella y vi que tenía una carita de nervios y los ojitos así como con ganas de llorar, pero la maestra les entregó unos identificadores y eso la hizo cambiar de ánimos, se puso más contenta e incluso quiso que le tomara unas fotos con su nueva adquisición.

To be honest I was a bit nervous 🥴 because I didn't know how Esther would behave in her adaptation process, it's a different schedule, a different teacher, different classmates, so it was a challenge, I think more for me than for her.

At the beginning of classes I was already thinking that anything could happen, when I was getting her ready for that first day of classes she was happy and excited, so that gave me hope
that everything would flow well.

When she arrived at the new school she was happy for her new classmates and that she would finally share with her new teacher. Esther has been characterized for being a good child at school, very sociable, loving and obedient, so those same attributes will be developed in this new stage 😊.

When I left her in the classroom I said goodbye to her and I saw that she had a nervous face and her eyes looked like she wanted to cry, but the teacher gave her some name tags and that made her change her mood, she became happier and even wanted me to take some pictures of her with her new acquisition.

Han pasado dos semanas desde el inicio de las clases y su desenvolvimiento ha sido muy bueno, se ha adaptado muy bien al nuevo horario y a las nuevas rutinas de clase, por mi parte siento que me ha costado un poquito integrarme más al grupo de representantes siento que por venir de otro colegio me cuesta más porque la mayoría de los niños han estudiado juntos desde el primer nivel, ¡Soy prácticamente la recién llegada! 🤪 pero espero que con el pasar del tiempo las cosas vayan mejorando.

En resumidas palabras puedo decir que hasta el momento no he tenido inconvenientes en cuanto al tema de adaptación, en cambio, hoy Esther tuvo un incidente con un compañero, ya que el niño la mordió en una mano porque Esther no quería soltar un balón que tenían en el aula de clases, fue muy incómodo encontrarme con esta escena, pero ya luego les compartiré como maneje la situación 😅

It's been two weeks since the beginning of classes and her performance has been very good, she has adapted very well to the new schedule and the new class routines, for my part I feel that it has cost me a little bit to integrate more to the group of representatives I feel that coming from another school makes it more difficult because most of the children have studied together since the first level, I am practically the newcomer! 🤪 but I hope that as time goes by things will get better.

In short I can say that so far I have not had any inconveniences regarding the adaptation issue, however, today Esther had an incident with a classmate, since the child bit her on one hand because Esther did not want to let go of a ball they had in the classroom, it was very uncomfortable to meet this scene, but later I will share with you how I handled the situation 😅
