¡Hola, comunidad!
El primero de Julio, comenzamos una nueva ronda de terapias con Amelie y además algunas rutinas recomendadas por su psicóloga para mejorar algunas conductas y su desarrollo.
Si no lo sabes, soy mamá azul, ya que tengo una hija con autismo, para mí todos mis hijos son especiales, por lo tanto, ella tiene es una condición diferente, que la hace al igual que a todos, única.
Para esta nueva sesión de terapias me sorprendió y a sus terapeutas, que ella entro a la sala con la misma sonrisa con que salió el último día de las anteriores. Además dr esto, ya usa mascarilla y la tolera, cosa que antes no hacia.
Sigue recibiendo solo terapia ocupacional y de lenguaje, tenía mos que ir todos los días, pero por falta de cupo solo asistimos Martes y Jueves a las 8:00 a.m. son 30 sesiones y con los mismos licenciados.

On the first of July, we started a new round of therapies with Amelie and also some routines recommended by her psychologist to improve some behaviours and her development.
If you don't know, I am a blue mum, as I have a daughter with autism, for me all my children are special, therefore, she has a different condition, which makes her, like everyone else, unique.
For this new session of therapies she surprised me and her therapists, that she entered the room with the same smile that she left the last day of the previous ones. In addition to this, she now wears a mask and tolerates it, which she did not do before.
She continues to receive only occupational and speech therapy, she had to go every day, but due to lack of space we only attend on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. There are 30 sessions and with the same therapists.
Amelie, ahora entra al area de rehabilitación y espera su turno, sentada y con paciencia. No se mete en la piscina de pelotas, hasta que se le den permiso, ya coloca sus manos en el lavamanos que está en el baño para lavarlas antes de entrar y al salir, como medida de bioseguridad.
Lo que más nos ha sorprendido, es su retentiva, a pesar del tiempo que tenía sin vermos, tuvo la misma confianza y ahora hace más contacto visual dura algunos segundos pero ll ha logrado.
Por otra parte, en casa tengo 2 bebés de diferentes tamaños, pero con la misma edad de desarrollo, pronto el bebé Joaquín cumplirá 1 año y superará en desarrollo a Amelie, pero ella continuando con sus terapias y aunque un poco más lento, también irá avanzando.
Amelie now enters the rehabilitation area and waits her turn, sitting patiently. She does not go into the ball pool until she is given permission, and she puts her hands in the washbasin in the bathroom to wash them before entering and when leaving, as a biosecurity measure.
What has surprised us the most, is his retentiveness, despite the time he had without seeing us, he had the same confidence and now makes more eye contact, it lasts a few seconds but he has achieved it.
On the other hand, at home I have 2 babies of different sizes, but with the same age of development, soon baby Joaquín will be 1 year old and will surpass Amelie in development, but she continues with her therapies and although a little slower, she will also be advancing.
Por recomendación de su psicóloga, nuevas rutinas de Amelie:
▪︎Así use pañal, debe cambiarse y bañarse en el baño, para que aprenda a que ese es el lugar correcto.
▪︎Se debe vestir en el cuarto, no en otro lugar y debe practicar hacerlo sola.
▪︎Debe tener su área de estudio, así no esté asistiendo de manera prensencial a la escuela debemos mantener una rutina para que le ayude al momento de regresar.
On the recommendation of her psychologist, Amelie's new routines:
▪︎Even if she wears a nappy, she must change and bathe herself in the bathroom, so that she learns that this is the right place.
▪︎She should dress herself in the room, not elsewhere, and she should practise doing it alone.
▪︎She should have her study area, even if she is not attending school in person, we must maintain a routine to help her when she returns.
Definitivamente, ser padres azules es un gran reto, nos cambia la vida las rutinas comunes e incluso el orden de todo en casa, más no es imposible, es cuestión de adaptación y querer salir adelante.
Todo esto es bueno para Amelie y sus avances nos llenan de orgullo, no solo a su familia que siempre la apoyamos, si no también a sus médicos y terapeutas. Aún no logramos que hable, pero las pocas veces que ha dicho ¡MAAAAA - MAAAAAÁ! ni te imaginas como ha llenado de dicha mi corazón.
Definitely, being blue parents is a great challenge, it changes our lives, our common routines and even the order of everything at home, but it is not impossible, it is a matter of adaptation and wanting to get ahead.
All this is good for Amelie and her progress fills us with pride, not only her family who always support her, but also her doctors and therapists. We still can't get her to talk, but the few times she has said ¡MAAAAAAA - MAAAAAAAA! you can't imagine how it has filled my heart with joy.
