He visto algunas de las preguntas de los Daily Challenge que me gustaría responder este día para homenajear a un padre que he tomado como referencia y admiro mucho, mi esposo. Que se ha dedicado a los cuidados de su hija desde que nos enteramos que yo estaba embarazada y ha sido realmente un ejemplo para los hombres de nuestras familias y para todos los hombres, así que quiero hacer este pequeño homenaje para agradecerle y felicitarlo.

I have seen some of the Daily Challenge questions that I would like to answer this day to honor a father that I have taken as a reference and admire very much, my husband. Who has been dedicated to the care of his daughter since we found out I was pregnant and has truly been an example to the men in our families and to all men, so I want to do this little tribute to thank him and congratulate him.
Mucho antes de quedar embarazada mi esposo me prometió que cuando llegara el momento de ser padre, sería el padre el mejor, que trataría de no cometer los errores que su padre y el mío cometieron y que por nuestros hijos él sería una mejor persona. Desde hace un par de años estábamos muy ansiosos por ser padres y la noticia fue una alegría muy grande.
Como ya he contado en otros post su dedicación durante todo mi embarazo fue admirable. Como fue un embarazo de alto riesgo, él se encargó de todos los quehaceres de la casa y tenía guardias de 24 horas cada 2 día en el hospital porque es enfermero. Nunca me faltaron las atenciones y cuando se iba a trabajar me dejaba muchas películas y series para que viera y no me sintiera aburrida, venia 3 veces al día para servirme la comida y acompañarme a comer, es una suerte que el hospital donde trabaja esté a 1 kilómetro de la casa.

No es de extrañar que la primera palabra que dijo María Teresa fue PAPÁ. Pero debo decir que me sentí muy feliz porque ha sido tan dedicado que se lo merece. Me dijo que nada se compara con ese momento en su hija lo llamo papá. Me encanta verlos juntos, cuando se ríen, juegan y cuando comparten. Estoy más que segura que un mejor padre no pude escoger para mi hija, un hombre responsable, maduro y con muchas ganas de que sus raíces se nutran con sus conocimientos.
Not surprisingly, the first word Maria Teresa said was DADDY. But I must say I was very happy because he has been so dedicated that he deserves it. He told me that nothing compares to that moment when his daughter called him daddy. I love to see them together, when they laugh, play and when they share. I am more than sure that I could not have chosen a better father for my daughter, a responsible, mature man who is eager to nurture her roots with his knowledge.
