CLOUDS AND SUNSET MOMENTS ☁️

If you’ve followed my recent blogs before now you must have noticed that I deal greatly with photography and I don’t ignore a single prompt or quest that has a thing to do with photography for the past few days I’ve received another hearty request from inleo day 19 asking us to share some sky, cloud photography or waters and reflection.

So today, I took a tour of some inspiring cloud photography that I’m sure you’ll enjoy, so sit tight and have fun, but first, do you agree with me that the skies are always adorable, especially when they are struck by the rays of the sunset?

This appealing appearance of the sky combining forces with the warm temperature of the rays from the sunset is always a fascinating scene, especially when captured on camera. Without boring you with too much talk, let’s dive into some astonishing sunset photos I was able to capture on camera, their properties, and what I love about them.

One faithful evening at around 6:37 pm, WAT stepped out of my room, and immediately, I was struck by the atmosphere, the temperature and all, and I looked at the sky and behold, this is what we got.

I ran as fast as I could to set up my camera because moments like this only lasted for a few minutes if not sent alone. With an iso of 100, a shutter speed of 1/250 I, and f.8.0, I was able to achieve this astonishing look of the sun resting behind a coconut tree and leaving the sky with a deep brown saturated temperature. I took a series of this same shot, but I feel this very one came out amazingly well.

Next on the list, I have another amazing shot of another beautiful atmosphere, but this wasn’t an actual sunset; these were just gases and fumes spotted in the sky one evening that looked amazing, and I was opportune to have my camera along with me. At first, it looks crazy when you see someone bringing out a camera in the middle of the road just to take an irrelevant picture or moment. I call it irrelevant because, in my region, most people do not value such interests, and some may even condemn such an act and tag it joblessness, but I believe we are all born to embrace the things we are attracted to, and as such, I care not about what people say.

With an iso of 100, a shutter speed of 1/60, and an aperture of 6.5, I was able to achieve this astonishing photo as well. It was looking too ordinary at first and formless so I decided to add a little culture and form to it by tilting towards a palm tree while still capturing the beautiful sky and its fumes. I also aligned the street lights across the road in the photo, and this means crossing a busy road just to get a beautiful picture of the sky, and mind you, there are hundreds of people watching you and ready to criticize.

I’ll leave you with the last photo here which is this epic shot of the sky and its beautiful colored fumes. This was quite basic, but what made this picture memorable for me was that after taking this picture, someone else miles away from me posted the same picture on her WhatsApp status, and it attracted me immediately to come across someone who took the same picture I took but from an entirely different location far away from me.

Which of these pictures is your favorite? As for me, I posted them from my most favorite to the least favorite. Do you have the same or similar pictures on your phone or camera you’ve taken before now? Do well to share them with us under Inleo and I'll be looking forward to your entry as well; cheers.
