Ранкове сонце було прекрасним. Пташечки весело зустрічали перші промені жовтогарячого, але холодного, світла. Дятли літали від дерева до дерева, заклопотано шукаючи під корою всяких жучків та черв'ячків. Біля них зграйками крутилися синички в надії підібрати те, що випустить з-під свого дзьоба дятел. Хенк нетерпляче чекав, коли ж нарешті я візьму його з собою на ранкову прогулянку. Погода прекрасна, не холодно і не вітряно. Саме час піти подалі від вулиць, на луги.
The morning sun was beautiful. The little birds cheerfully greeted the first rays of yellow-hot, but cold, light. Woodpeckers flew from tree to tree, busily looking for all kinds of bugs and worms under the bark. Near them flocks of titmice twirled in the hope of picking up what the woodpecker would release from its beak. Hank was impatiently waiting for me to finally take him on his morning walk. The weather is beautiful, not cold and not windy. It's time to go away from the streets, to the meadows.
І тільки ми дійшли до початку нашої вулиці, - почала ревіти сирена. Повітряна тривога. Ех, шкода: потрібно повертатися додому. Обіцяю Хенку вечором надолужити втрачену прогулянку лугами, і розвертаємось додому, у 'сховище'.
And as soon as we reached the beginning of our street, the siren began to wail. Air alarm. Eh, it's a pity: you have to go home. I promise Hank to make up for the lost walk in the meadows in the evening, and we turn around to go home, to the "storage".
Як виявилось, цього разу тривога була не просто так. Росіяни влаштували ранкові запуски крилатих ракет по мирних містах України. Цілили знову по енергетичній інфраструктурі. І хоча наші славні бійці протиповітряної оборони збили 60 із випущених 76 ракет, без руйнувань, поранень і загиблих не обійшлося. Наприклад, через цю атаку ми залишилися без світла та зв'язку майже на 12 годин. А тут ще й всі новини почали говорити, що уламки однієї збитої ворожої ракети впали на житлові будинки в нашому районі. І як же довго я не могла донести інформацію рідним про те, що ми живі-здорові і неушкоджені, через відсутність інтернету! Знаючи, як хвилюватимуться дорогі мені люди, я пів-дня намагалася достукатись будь-якими каналами до них. Пощастило зв'язатися аж після обіду. Тільки після цього з'явився і апетит до їжі, і бажання щось робити у знеструмленому навколишньому середовищі.
As it turned out, this time the anxiety was not for nothing. The russians staged morning launches of cruise missiles over peaceful cities of Ukraine. They aimed again at the energy infrastructure. And although our famous air defense fighters shot down 60 of the 76 missiles fired, destruction, injuries and deaths were not without. For example, because of this attack, we were left without electricity and communication for almost 12 hours. And then all the news began to say that the fragments of one downed enemy missile fell on residential buildings in our area. And how long I could not convey the information to my relatives that we are alive, healthy and unharmed, due to the lack of Internet! Knowing how worried my dear people would be, I spent half a day trying to reach them through any channels. It was lucky to get in touch just after lunch. Only after that did the appetite for food and the desire to do something in the de-energized environment appear.
Так як ми давно пристосовані до відсутності електрики, то і проблем ніяких не було. Навіть не чекали, що так швидко можуть відпрацювати всі пошкодження наші прекрасні енергетики. Тому на луги ми з Хенком пішли із своїм 'світлом': він - з очима, я - з ліхтариком.😁

Черговий ракетний терор від росії залишив їх без купи грошей, викинутих на вітер. А могли б потратити їх на наведення порядку у своїй державі. Чого я їм щиро і бажаю.
