Answer. It's hard to imagine a scenario where the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies goes to zero. I would say that such a scenario is possible in the most improbable case. How much energy is spent on mining many cryptocurrencies, and how many intellectual and physical resources! I can only see a positive scenario and the introduction of cryptocurrencies with mandatory regulation by the state. So, in Ukraine, they started talking about changes to the Tax Code. Now, after MICA, they promise a new bill. According to preliminary information, the National Securities Commission will regulate the crypto market. They also say that taxes will be collected in case of withdrawal of digital assets into regular money. But so far, these are all words, and the results in the form of laws are promised by the end of this year. Most likely, this process will take a little longer.
The last few days have been eventful. For example, Samsung has started to cooperate with Crypto com. Google Cloud giant will cooperate with Polygon Labs for faster WEB3 implementation. Such news is coming out more and more often. And although altcoins are not in a hurry to rise in price, Bitcoin is becoming more expensive. Or maybe Michael Saylor, the director of MSTR, is right and Bitcoin will eclipse all other assets, not only altcoins, but also stock markets, paper money
Bitcoin is a unique and perhaps ideal form of asset. Even if there are only 21 million of them, and even if a significant part of them is lost forever, 1 bitcoin consists of 100 million satoshis. At the same time, the lost coins do not play a special role. Even if there is a shortage of bitcoins, you can add zeros to 1 satoshi indefinitely: that is, you can even divide it. Or it may happen that El Salvador with its "advanced" president Naib Buchele will become one of the top most developed economies in the world thanks to Bitcoin. According to the network, this small country with a population of about 6 million holds just over 2,000 Bitcoins in its treasury. MSTR, for comparison, has more than 130,000. Out of curiosity, I went to the website of the Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador in the hope that I would see the Bitcoin emblem on the main page. Unfortunately, it is not there. The regulator's website is closed to visitors from Ukraine! I had to visit the Bank's website in a roundabout way. But I found technical standards for working in the Bitcoin ecosystem, a page for registering a Bitcoin service provider for individuals and legal entities, and more.
What will happen when El Salvador is followed by one or two more countries that officially adopt Bitcoin at the legislative level? And how will things change when a significant number of countries start using Bitcoin as a reserve currency? There are about 200 countries in the world. In addition to them, there are corporations and large companies, billionaires and millionaires, and some of them openly say that they keep Bitcoin in their wallets. There are more than 2700 billionaires in the world! (According to conservative estimates) And there are a lot of millionaires in general, perhaps 20-30 or even more. And although most of them are in no hurry to invest in cryptocurrencies, adhering to conservative views, one can imagine to what values the price of the main cryptocurrency will soar.
Inflation literally eats money. If until recently it was possible to save some money and buy something, such as a refrigerator or a washing machine, now it is more profitable to make such purchases on credit. Or there is an alternative: save in cryptocurrency. In the current environment, this is one of the few ways to preserve your assets, increase them with a successful investment, or simply save up for something.
For some reason, it seems to me that it will take generations, not a year or 5, for Bitcoin to spread globally. We are talking about the period during which one generation grows up and gives birth to a new one. And this period is about 25 years. During this time, people will grow up who will have no reason to distrust Bitcoin. They will hear the names of cryptocurrencies from the cradle, play games, and receive satoshi instead of points. Over time, there will be changes in the political circle as well. Current politicians are putting a spoke in the industry's wheel for a reason, as they are defending their own interests. But they will not last forever, and changes in political circles are already underway. But useful changes, the introduction of ideal money, as mentioned above, take time. Given that Bitcoin is already 14 years old, there is not much time left. Bitcoin is already a teenager, and after the next halving and in a couple of years it will become a young man, and then it will be close to adulthood. Perhaps I am wrong and my views on digital assets seem funny to some, or vice versa, they look like recommendations, but these are just the thoughts of an ordinary person. Therefore, you should not make any definite conclusions based on the results of reading this publication.

Коли Біткоїн буде коштувати мільйони доларів?
Привіт. Важко уявити такий перебіг подій, коли ціна біткоїна й інших криптовалют прийде до нуля. Я сказав би, що такий сценарій можливий у найбільш неймовірному випадку. Скільки енергії витрачено на майнінг багатьох криптовалют, а скільки інтелектуальних та фізичних ресурсів! Бачу тільки позитивний сценарій і впровадження криптовалют з обов'язковою регуляцією зі сторони держав. Ось і в Україні заговорили про зміни в Податковий Кодекс. Тепер, після MICA, обіцяють новий законопроєкт. За попередньою інформацією регулювати крипторинок буде Національна комісія з цінних паперів. Ще кажуть, що брати податки будуть у випадку виведення цифрових активів у звичайні гроші. Але поки що це все слова, а результати у вигляді законів обіцяють до кінця нинішнього року. Скоріше за все цей процес трішки затягнеться.
Останні дні багаті на події. Наприклад, Samsung почав співпрацювати з Crypto com. Для більш швидкого впровадження WEB3 гігант Google Cloud буде співпрацювати з Polygon Labs. Подібні новини виходять все частіше. І хоча альткоїни не дуже спішать зростати в ціні, Біткоїн стає все дорожче. Біткоїн унікальна й можливо ідеальна форма активів. І хай їх лише 21 мільйон, і хай значна частина втрачена назавжди, та 1 біткоїн складається зі 100 мільйонів сатоші. При цьому втрачені монети не грають особливої ролі. Навіть при дефіциті біткоїнів можна до безконечності додавати нулі перед 1 сатоші: тобто ділити навіть її. А може статися так, що Сальвадор з “просунутим” президентом Наїбом Букеле вийде в ТОП найбільш розвинених економік світу саме завдяки Біткоїну. Якщо вірити мережі, то ця невеличка країна з населенням близько 6 мільйонів тримає в скарбниці трохи понад 2 тисяч Біткоїнів. В MSTR, для порівняння, понад 130 тисяч. Заради цікавості зайшов на сайт Центрального резервного банку Сальвадора в надії, що на головній сторінці побачу емблему Біткоїна. На жаль, її немає. Сайт регулятора закритий для відвідування з України! Довелося відвідувати сайт Банку обхідними шляхами. Зате знайшов технічні нормативи по роботі в екосистемі Біткоїн, сторінку реєстрації постачальника послуг Біткоїн для фізичних, юридичних осіб та інше.
Що відбудеться, коли за Сальвадором ще одна чи дві країни перейдуть на Біткоїн, офіційно на законодавчому рівні? А як все зміниться, коли значна частина країн почнуть використовувати Біткоїн як резервну валюту. У світі близько 200 країн. Крім них ще є корпорації та великі компанії, мільярдери та мільйонери й деякі з них відкрито говорять про те, що тримають у своїх гаманцях Біткоїн. У світі понад 2700 мільярдерів! (За скромними підрахунками) А мільйонерів взагалі багато, можливо 20-30 чи навіть більше. І хоча більшість з них не поспішають інвестувати в криптовалюту, дотримуючись консервативних поглядів, можна уявити, до яких значень злетить ціна головної криптовалюти.
Інфляція буквально пожирає гроші. Якщо ще зовсім недавно можна було відкласти трохи грошей та купити якусь річ, наприклад, холодильник чи пральну машину, то зараз такі покупки вигідніше брати в кредит. Або ж є альтернатива: збирати в криптовалюті. В нинішніх умовах — це один з небагатьох способів зберегти свої активи, примножити їх при вдалій інвестиції чи просто накопичити на якусь річ.
Чомусь мені здається, що для глобального поширення Біткоїна потрібно не рік чи 5, а покоління. Мова йде про період, протягом якого підростає одне покоління та дає життя новому. І цей період складає приблизно 25 років. За цей час виростуть люди, які не матимуть підстав не довіряти Біткоїну. Вони будуть чути назви криптовалют з пелюшок, грати в ігри, отримуючи замість не якісь бали, а сатоші. З часом відбудуться зміни й у політичному колі. Нинішні політики ставлять палки в колеса індустрії не випадково, адже відстоюють власні інтереси. Та вони не вічні й зміни в політичних колах вже відбуваються. Але для корисних змін, впровадження ідеальних грошей, як сказано вище, потрібен час. Враховуючи те, що Біткоїну вже 14 років, залишилось не так і багато. Біткоїн вже підліток і після наступного халвінгу та через пару років стане юнаком, а там вже й повноліття недалеко. Можливо, я помиляюсь і мої погляди на цифрові активи здаються комусь кумедними чи навпаки — виглядають рекомендаціями, та це лише роздуми звичайної людини. Тому не варто робити однозначні висновки за результатами читання публікації.
