Привіт! Срібна монета присвячена орлу степовому, що 3 1980 року занесений до Червоної книги України. Нині таких птахів можна побачити дуже рідко. Єдине місце, де утримується найбільше орлів є заповідник Асканія-Нова. Монета введена в обіг 20 січня.
Важить срібний виріб 31.1 г, а діаметр складає 38.6 мм. Для допису “Срібло: Орел степовий, монета із серії “Флора і фауна”, 1999 рік, номінал 10 гривень” використано дві світлини з офіційного сайту Національного банку України. Всього виготовлено 5 тисяч екземплярів. Монета має рифлений гурт.
Реверс.
Центральну частину займає зображення птаха, що вирує над степами Херсонщини. Назва монети українською мовою та латиницею нанесено угорі.
Лицьова сторона. По колу можна побачити традиційний вінок з тварин та рослин. Між ним угорі зображено Герб. Нижче напис Україна, номінал та рік введення в обіг. Також на аверсі вказано назву металу, пробу й вагу.

Greetings! The silver coin is dedicated to the steppe eagle, which was entered into the Red Book of Ukraine in 1980. Nowadays, such birds can be seen very rarely. The only place where the most eagles are kept is the Askania-Nova reserve. The coin was put into circulation on January 20.

The central part is occupied by the image of a bird flying over the steppes of the Kherson region. The name of the coin in Ukrainian and Latin is printed at the top.
Front side. Around the circle you can see a traditional wreath of animals and plants. Between it, the Coat of Arms is depicted at the top. Below is the inscription Ukraine, the denomination and the year of introduction into circulation. The name of the metal, assay and weight are also indicated on the obverse.
