Попри те, що курс станом на сьогодні складає 1 до 0.082 (тенге — гривня) й купити за цю монету не можна й сірники, та все ж для колекції згодиться. Вона виготовлена зі сталі, поверхня якої покрита латунню. Розмір — 15, а вага всього лише 1.7 г. Гурт без насічок.
З історії. Ще зовсім недавно, якихось 30 років тому, теньге доповнювали тиїни, розмінні монети. Та завжди інфляція вносить свої корективи й сьогодні тиїнами вже не користуються.
Назва грошей Казахстану має тюркське походження. Так, таньга є першоджерелом, від якого пішли й тенге, чи теньге, й “деньги”. Всі існуючі монети карбувались кількома серіями: перша з часів розпаду совка, друга — 1997-2019 і третя з останньої дати до моменту написання цього матеріалу. Так, 1 тенге першої серії був виконаний з нейзильберу. Вона була важче й більше за монету, що розглядається. Монети другої серії до 2012 року теж виготовлялись з нейзильберу, а пізніше перейшли на сталь з покриттям латунню. По вазі та діаметру вони ідентичні, а ось товщина стальних тенге на 1/10 більше, чим 1 тенге з нейзильберу.
На реверсі монети вказано номінал 1 тенге прописом та цифрою, а з обох боків можна побачити елементи художнього оздоблення.
Аверс одного теньге виглядає дуже гарно. Тут можна побачити герб, дату карбування й напис Республіка Казахстан.
Монета теньге регулярного карбування 2015 року зовсім не рідкісна, що суттєво впливає на ціну. Купити її можна за суму від 5 до 15 гривень в залежності від майданчика, та, звичайно, стану монети.

The reverse of the coin bears the denomination of 1 tenge in words and numbers, and on both sides you can see elements of artistic decoration.
