Привіт! Монета введена в обіг 27 вересня й присвячена історику, культурологу, видатному діячеві України щодо державного та національного відродження.
Важить срібна монета 15.55 г й має діаметр 33 мм. Гурт виробу рифлений, а загальний тираж складає 5 тисяч штук. Для допису “Монета зі срібла Михайло Грушевський: серія “Видатні особистості України”, номінал 5 гривень, 2006 рік” використано дві світлини з офіційного сайту Національного банку України.
Реверс. Портрет видатного діяча займає основну частину реверсу на темному тлі. Ліворуч вказано ім'я та прізвище, а нижче — роки життя.
Аверс. На лицьовій стороні нанесено орнаментальні узори правильної форми. Герб та назва фінансового регулятора вказані угорі, зліва ближче до центральної частини цифра 5 та напис гривень. В нижній частині нанесено рік введення в обіг, а правіше — лого Монетного двору. Проба та назва металу й вага вказані вище напису “гривень”.

Greetings! The coin was put into circulation on September 27 and is dedicated to the historian, culturologist, outstanding figure of Ukraine in terms of state and national revival.
The silver coin weighs 15.55 g and has a diameter of 33 mm. The band of the product is corrugated, and the total circulation is 5 thousand pieces. Two photos from the official website of the National Bank were used for the post "Silver coin of Mykhailo Hrushevskyi: "Prominent personalities of Ukraine" series, denomination 5 hryvnias, 2006"Ukraine.
Reverse. A portrait of a prominent figure occupies the main part of the reverse on a dark background. The name and surname are shown on the left, and the years of life below.
Obverse. Ornamental patterns of the correct shape are applied to the front side. The coat of arms and the name of the financial regulator are indicated at the top, the drain is closer to the central part of the number 5 and the hryvnia inscription. In the lower part is the year of introduction into circulation, and to the right is the logo of the Mint. The type and name of the metal and weight are indicated above the inscription "hryvnia".
