Влітку декілька років тому, будучи у відрядженні на півдні України, ми застали захід у Миколаївській області, коли знаходились в чистому полі. Цей регіон нашої країни знаходиться в Південному Причорномор'ї, в басейні річки Південний Буг. Багато разів згадується слово «південний» і дійсно, це одна з найбільш аграрних областей України відома своїми кавунами, помідорами, пшеницею, кукурудзою і багатьма іншими смачними товарами.
In the summer of a few years ago, while on a business trip in the south of Ukraine, we found an event in the Mykolayiv region when we were in a clearing. This region of our country is located in the Southern Black Sea Coast, in the basin of the Southern Bug River. The word "southern" is mentioned many times and indeed, it is one of the most agricultural regions of Ukraine known for its watermelons, tomatoes, wheat, corn and many other delicious products.
Територія Миколаївської області являє собою рівнину, лише на північ регіону відноситься до правобережної Придніпровської височини. Найвища точка тут - майже 260 м. Місцевість на півночі області розчленована мережею ярів, балок і долин. У напрямку до моря, на південь ландшафт має тенденцію до зниження.

Область знаходиться в зоні лісо-степів і степів. Відповідно клімат помірний континентальний. Літо спекотне, з сухими вітрами і засухами. Зима малосніжна і відносно тепла. В середньому період вегетації становить 210 діб. Все сприяє розвитку сільського господарства, що, власне стрімко і відбувається останнім часом.
The region is located in the zone of forest-steppes and steppes. Accordingly, the climate is temperate continental. Summer is hot, with dry winds and droughts. Winter is light snow and relatively warm. The average growing season is 210 days. Everything contributes to the development of agriculture, which, in fact, is happening rapidly in recent times.
