The Russian occupiers recently left the Ukrainian Snake Island. They called it a gesture of goodwill (for what?), but they continue to fire at him (why?). Russian statements are mostly a substitute of concepts or just lies. But is it a step toward unblocking the sea routes through which Ukraine exports its grain?
I want to say that it is clear to everyone that Russia understands that its actions will cause starvation somewhere in the world. The harvest that they could not capture, like bandits, they try to destroy with missiles and artillery. Any method is fine. Landmines on which farmers are detonated, deliberately set grain fields on fire.
Before this war, most Ukrainians had no idea how huge is our part in world's export of grain. We found out that Ukraine is one of the world's most important food exporters. Russia’s blockade of Ukrainian Black Sea shipping traps about 25 million tons of grain in Ukrainian silos, risking a global economic and humanitarian disaster. Much of the old harvest still not shipped, and the harvest of this year’s crop has just begun.
Our farmers are real heroes. And our sappers are real heroes. For Ukrainians, a loaf of bread has always been sacred. We are people who love to work the land and we cannot let the crops die. But the price of bread in Ukraine this year will be very, very high. It's human lives.

I so much hope that together with USA and Europe, Ukraine will find a way out. Our partners are wary of intervening, even for escorting Ukrainian merchant vessels with U.S. or NATO warships. In addition, no one can trust Russia's promises. Another way out is to provide Ukraine with whatever military equipment that can protect its own shipping lanes.
Anyway, we appreciate any help, but the more the better. 💪❤️
