Мої думки щодо вступу України в Євросоюз:
Україна географічно і так є центром Європи, але мова тут не про географію, і не про етнічну складову певної території.
Мова йде про менталітет та стандарти співіснування в межах даної території.
Я буду безмежно радий, якщо моя країна стане повноправним членом авторитетної європейської спільноти, але я маю деякі сумніви щодо способу та механізму вступу України в ЄС.
Ми знову щось випрошуємо у західних країн, на щось жаліємось, доказуємо про якусь свою особливість поміж інших країн. Всі країни світу та Європи , зокрема , також мають свою велику історію, свої принципи та менталітет, і їхня думка варта уваги.
Тому мене не влаштовує риторика сучасних українських політиків щодо членства України в ЄС способом нав’язування, звинувачуючи при цьому країни Заходу в тому, що ті не хочуть швидкого нашого вступу та вимагають певного кандидатського періоду.
А деякі країни взагалі не впевнені в тому, що Україна достойна стати членом ЄС, незважаючи на те, що якраз сьогодні вона захищає свободу та демократію всіх Європейських країн.
І , як не дивно, я в чомусь розумію позицію цих країн.
Я думаю , що не варто стукати у двері, де нас не чекають та ставляться до нас з підозрою. Як каже народне прислів’я: ‘Незваний гість гірше татарина’.
Незабаром настане час , коли рівень нашої свідомості, культури, освіти , науки , економіки, організації побуту та громадянської відповідальності досягне рівня розвинутих європейських країн.
Впевнений - Європа це відразу відчує та сама буде всіляко заохочувати Україну до вступу в свою спільноту на правах рівноправного партнера.
Відсутність в державі національної ідеї, тотальна корупція на всіх ланках державного управління, недосконале законодавство, несправедлива податкова політика, відсутність судової влади, пострадянський менталітет у великої частини громадян - це ті проблеми, які віддаляють нас від омріяного членства в Євросоюзі.
Як патріот своєї країни, я щиро бажаю моїй державі зайняти достойне місце серед поважних держав, мати можливість на рівних приймати участь в вирішенні глобальних проблем світу. Але як пересічний громадянин, я відчуваю, що країна не готова, люди не готові, я особисто не готовий і мені буде соромно вважати себе членом Європейського союзу при вступі в такий спосіб.
Після перемоги в російсько-українській війні, держава спільно з громадянами повинна створити національну ідею та план її реалізації, відпрацювати план відновлення країни після війни.
Потім - працювати, працювати і ще раз працювати. Українці мусять показати свою згуртованість і прагнення до кращого життя на новому рівні свідомості, на підставі європейських цінностей, а можливо, навіть і перевершуючи їх.
Тільки практичними справами , рухаючись в напрямку стандартів ЄС ми зможемо розраховувати на те, що Європа відкриє для нас двері .
My thoughts on Ukraine's accession to the European Union:
Geographically, Ukraine is already the center of Europe, but this is not about geography or the ethnic component of a particular territory.
We are talking about the mentality and standards of coexistence within the territory.
I will be infinitely happy if my country becomes a full member of the authoritative European community, but I have some doubts about the way and mechanism of Ukraine's accession to the EU.
We are again asking for something from Western countries, we are complaining about something, we are proving something special among other countries. All countries of the world and Europe, in particular, also have their own great history, their own principles and mentality, and their opinion is noteworthy.
That is why I am not satisfied with the rhetoric of modern Ukrainian politicians about Ukraine’s membership in the EU by imposing them, accusing Western countries of not wanting us to join quickly and demanding a certain candidate period.
And some countries are not at all convinced that Ukraine deserves to become a member of the EU, despite the fact that today it is defending the freedom and democracy of all European countries.
And, oddly enough, I somehow understand the position of these countries.
I don't think we should knock on doors where we are not expected and treated with suspicion. As the saying goes, "An uninvited guest is worse than a Tatar."
The time will soon come when the level of our consciousness, culture, education, science, economy, organization of life and civic responsibility will reach the level of developed European countries.
I am sure that Europe will immediately feel this and will encourage Ukraine to join its community as an equal partner.
The absence of a national idea in the state, total corruption at all levels of government, imperfect legislation, unfair tax policy, lack of judiciary, post-Soviet mentality of most citizens - these are the problems that distance us from the dream of EU membership.
As a patriot of my country, I sincerely wish my country to take a worthy place among the respected states, to have the opportunity to participate on an equal footing in solving global problems of the world. But as an ordinary citizen, I feel that the country is not ready, people are not ready, I am not personally ready and I will be ashamed to consider myself a member of the European Union if I join in this way.
After the victory in the Russian-Ukrainian war, the state together with the citizens must create a national idea and a plan for its implementation, work out a plan to restore the country after the war.
Then work, work and work again. Ukrainians must show their unity and desire for a better life at a new level of consciousness, based on European values, and perhaps even surpassing them.
Only in practical cases, moving towards EU standards, will we be able to count on Europe to open its doors to us.
