Досі є скептики, які не вірять в перемогу України в російсько-українській війні. Вони керуються логікою, ніби українці роз’єднані, схід та захід не розуміють друг друга. Схід ніби годує всю Україну, а захід і центр заполонили бандерівці, і таке інше. Всі ці наративи- прямий вплив пропаганди москви і ніяк не відповідають дійсності.
Ще 32 роки тому, в цей день розпочався масовий історико-просвітницький захід Народного Руху України- відзначення 500-ліття Запорозького козацтва.
Відзначення відбувалося у Дніпропетровській та Запорізькій областях 1-5 серпня. Загальна кількість учасників святкування за різними оцінками від 300 до 500 тисяч чоловік. Делегації були від усіх областей України включно з Кримською.
У Запоріжжі‚ на Хортиці свято сягло свого піку. Великий Хід по Запоріжжю зібрав близько 500 тисяч чоловік.
Надзвичайною подією заходу тоді стало насипання Могили Пам'яті, яке велося за старим козацьким звичаєм всіма учасниками зібрання.
Всі делегації привезли на Запоріжжя землі зі своїх країв і заклали її в єдину Могилу Пам'яті.

32 years ago, on this day, a mass historical and educational event of the People's Movement of Ukraine began - commemoration of the 500th anniversary of the Zaporizhzhya Cossacks.
The celebration took place in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions on August 1-5. The total number of participants of the celebration, according to various estimates, is from 300 to 500 thousand people. The delegations were from all regions of Ukraine, including Crimea.
In Zaporizhzhia, in Khortytsia, the holiday reached its peak. The Great March in Zaporozhye gathered about 500,000 people.
The extraordinary event of the event then was the pouring of the Memorial Tomb, which was carried out by all participants of the meeting according to the old Cossack custom.
All delegations brought land from their regions to Zaporizhzhia and buried it in a single Memorial Grave.
Росія до цих пір шукає своє місце в історії. Це марна справа, бо там власної історії нема. Недокраїна, яка випадково виникла в ході певних історичних обставин тому і поводить себе так агресивно, ніби без роду, без племені .
Тим часом український народ свою багатовікову історію та традиції пам’ятає та шанує.
Відзначення 500-ліття Запорозького козацтва в 1990 році лише підтвердило єдність всіх регіонів України.
500 тисяч учасників зібрались на це свято за покликом душі .
Ім не виплачували за це кошти, не роздавали гречку, як це робили і, нажаль досі роблять, проросійські політичні партії.
І впевнений, що учасники того заходу також виховали патріотизм у своїх дітей. Сьогодні якраз ці нащадки Запорожських козаків стоять в черзі в військомати, щоб отримати право записатись в ЗСУ чи територіальну оборону.
Russia is still searching for its place in history. This is a useless thing, because there is no history of its own. A region that accidentally arose in the course of certain historical circumstances a long time ago and behaves so aggressively, as if without a family, without a tribe.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian people remember and honor their centuries-old history and traditions.

They were not paid for this, they were not distributed buckwheat, as pro-Russian political parties did and, unfortunately, still do.
And I am sure that the participants of that event also instilled patriotism in their children. Today, it is precisely these descendants of the Zaporizhzhya Cossacks who are standing in line at military bases to get the right to enroll in the Armed Forces or territorial defense.
