With the #RetoTop5 program, week # 50, animated by the excellent friends @avellana and cleydimar2000 . This week with the theme Five fascinating insects.
" Los insectos" forman parte de nuestra vida, por donde quiera hay uno volando, revoloteando las plantas o recorriendo una pared, a veces nos asustan porque nos pueden picar. Sin duda muchas especies vegetales dependen de los insectos para su polinización. Las flores son visitadas por estos, que atraídos por el néctar y otros mecanismos, llevan el polen de una flor a otra. De esta manera fertilizan las plantas y permiten la formación de los frutos y semillas.
Insects are part of our life, everywhere there is one flying or walking along a wall, sometimes they scare us because they can sting us. Undoubtedly, many plant species depend on insects for pollination. Flowers are visited by insects, which, attracted by nectar and other mechanisms, carry pollen from one flower to another. In this way they fertilize the plants and allow the formation of fruits and seeds.
El Salta monte/ The Salta mountain
Cuando realizaba mi actividad, de repente un insecto aparecio para hacer una combinación perfecta dentro del verdor de mis plantas arómaticas de abahaca, se trata de un gran Salta Montes marrón. Estos insectos pueden volar y saltar grandes distancias gracias a sus cuerpos fuertes con alas y patas posteriores grandes y robustas.
When I was doing my activity, suddenly an insect appeared to make a perfect combination within the greenery of my aromatic plants of abahaca, it is a big brown Salta Montes. These insects can fly and jump long distances thanks to their strong bodies with large and robust wings and hind legs.
La oruga/ The caterpillar
En mis plantas encontré esta oruga as culaes son larvas. Hay muchos tipos, con una enorme variedad de colores y tamaños. Su apariencia es similar a la de un gusano y están cubiertas de pequeños vellos. La mayoría de las orugas son inofensivas, pero algunas pueden causar reacciones alérgicas, por eso hay que tener cuidado, son fascinantes su forma y colores.
On my plants I found these caterpillars, which are larvae. There are many types, with a huge variety of colors and sizes. Their appearance is similar to that of a worm and they are covered with small hairs. Most caterpillars are harmless, but some can cause allergic reactions, so be careful, they are fascinating in their shape and colors.
Las abejas/ Bees
The bees are also fascinating, they go from flower to flower doing their job, as they are pollinators collecting pollen and nectar to feed the colony. These days in the morning hours they came to visit this beautiful flower.
Las hormigas/ Ants
Son pequeñitas y están por todas partes, como aman el azucar y algunas pican mucho, ellas viven en grupos muy numeroso, cada grupo cuenta con la reina madre, quien es la encargada de gobernar y organizar todo un imperio.
They are tiny and they are everywhere, as they love sugar and some of them are very itchy, they live in very large groups, each group has a queen mother, who is in charge of governing and organizing an entire empire.
Las mariposas/ Butterflies
This pretty butterfly was posing in my garden, posing on this flower enjoying its nectar. Besides being insects, they are also arthropods, I consider myself a lover of these delicate little animals, as they reflect the noblest and purest of nature.
