Esta imagen llega a mi en un momento de mucha susceptibilidad emocional, puesto que al momento de verla estaba en mi cuarta hora de total, abnegada y absoluta oscuridad que ya es muy común en mi país. Desde un tiempo muy prolongado estamos continuamente sometidos a estas oscuranas involuntarias,tal hecho debido a alguna situación extraña que hasta los momentos desconozco; al parecer, muchos dicen que nos están preparando para una especie de mutación visual que sucederá aproximadamente dentro de unos 5,000,000,000 (cinco mil millones) de años, tiempo de vida de nuestra estrella mas cercana "el sol" y como ya no tendremos los apreciados rayos de luz que emitirá, el gobierno muy amablemente ha decidido prepararnos para tal evento.

Pero como les dije anteriormente desconozco si esta es la causa; no obstante, esta imagen del señor @manclar es un vivo retrato de mi oscura noche, al verla me di cuenta que la imagen evocaba un paisaje nocturno, y llamó mucho mi atención los planetas muy cercanos, y una pregunta muy suspicaz se vino a mi mente. ¿Qué clase de ser gélido colocaría una ballena o cualquier otro animal de Dios en un océano en pleno espacio sideral? e inmediatamente, sin pensarlo mucho me vino una respuesta:

eso nada más podría ser obra de alguien con un corazón frío el señor @manclar.

No obstante, no quiero hablar de corazones fríos y hombres gélidos, más allá de eso quiero enfocarme en otra casualidad que tiene que ver con esta imagen. Como ya se los dije estábamos en una completa oscurana y mis hijos y yo aprovechamos este momento de desconexión para hacer diferente actividades entre ellas hablar de curiosidades, y justo cuando mis pensamientos estaban centrados en la imagen del señor gélido @manclar, mi hija me hace una curiosa pregunta:

mamá por qué si en el espacio está el sol que es el que nos proporciona calor por qué el espacio es tan frío.? Vaya pregunta, primero me sorprendió que justo estuviera viendo la imagen y segundo que mi hija me hiciera una pregunta relacionada con lo que pensaba pero desde otra perspectiva.

Recordé que hace días había leído un artículo que respondía esta interrogante y le expliqué que el sol, la cual es nuestra estrella más cercana realiza complejos procesos dentro de su interior para liberar enormes cantidades de energía en forma de luz y calor y que ese espacio que separa al sol de la tierra está en su gran mayoría aparentemente vacío y como la energía del sol se transmite por medio de radiación necesita de partículas y como el espacio está prácticamente vacío es imposible que se transfiera el calor, a diferencia de la tierra que tiene una atmósfera que posee abundantes partículas con las cuales interactuar, estas partículas absorben la energía y de esta forma se produce el calor.

Estoy completamente segura que entendió la respuesta porque mi hija sabe más del tema que yo, solo quería saber si yo sabía la respuesta y así aprovechaba y se distraía de nuestras 6 horas de vigilia.

Yo seguía distraída pero era por esta imagen donde me zambullí completamente,

pensé en ese pobre animalito a merced del espacio expandiéndose, en ese universo gélido, la veía tan feliz y sin embargo, yo sentía la desolación al fondo, la oscuridad, un universo marchando hacia el infinito...

y zaaassss todo eso cambió cuando vi el comentario de @sacra97 comparando a la ballena con las ballenas que queremos ver en este y todos los post de mis compañeros, allí cambió mis perspectiva y como por arte de magia llegó la luz.

This image comes to me at a moment of great emotional vulnerability, since when I saw it, I was in my fourth hour of total, selfless, and absolute darkness that has been common in my country for a very extended period of time, subjecting us to these involuntary dark periods, due to some strange situation that I still do not understand. Many say that we are being prepared for a kind of visual mutation that will occur approximately in about 5,000,000,000 (five billion) years, the lifespan of our nearest star "the sun," and since we will no longer have the cherished rays of light that it emits, the government has kindly decided to prepare us for this event.

But as I mentioned before, I don't know if this is the cause; however, this image by @manclar is a vivid portrait of my dark night. Upon seeing it, I realized that the image evoked a night landscape, and I was struck by the very close planets. A very suspicious question came to my mind, "What kind of cold-hearted being would place a whale or any other of God's animal in an ocean in the midst of outer space?"

Immediately, without much thought, an answer came to me: that could only be the work of someone with a cold heart, Mr. @manclar.

However, I do not want to talk about cold hearts and icy men. Beyond that, I want to focus on another coincidence related to this image. As I mentioned, we were in complete darkness, and my children and I took advantage of this disconnection to engage in different activities, one of which was discussing curiosities. Just when my thoughts were centered on the image of the cold Mr. @manclar, my daughter asked me a curious question: "Mom, if the sun is in space providing us with heat, why is space so cold?" What a question. I was surprised that she was asking me that precisely while I was looking at the image, and secondly, that my daughter was posing a question related to what I was thinking but from a different perspective.

I remembered reading an article
days ago that addressed this question, and I explained to her that the sun, our nearest star, undergoes complex processes within its interior to release huge amounts of energy in the form of light and heat. The space between the sun and the earth is mostly empty, and since solar energy is transmitted through radiation, it requires particles. As space is practically empty, it is impossible for heat to be transferred, unlike on Earth, which has an atmosphere with abundant particles that interact with the energy, absorbing it and generating heat.

I am certain that she understood the answer because she knows more about this topic than I do; she just wanted to see if I knew the answer and to distract herself during our 6 hours of vigil.

I was still distracted, but it was by this image that I immersed myself completely. I thought about that poor creature at the mercy of the expanding space, in that icy universe. It seemed so happy, yet I felt the desolation in the background, the darkness, a universe marching towards infinito...

and suddenly all of that changed when I saw the comment by @sacra97 comparing the whale to the whales we want to see in this and all the posts made by my colleagues. There, my perspective changed, and as if by magic, the light arrived.
