These photos are from that summer. But I love Jablunkov (Jabonków), a town in the Silesian region in the Czech Republic. Located in a valley away from the busy places with "first generation" tourists. Most often, the inhabitants of Ostrava, Český Těsín and Trciniec, as well as Poles, come here. Here is the most dynamic center of the Polish minority (Polish Cultural and Educational Association), and the city is well cared for. Full tourist infrastructure built thanks to the resourcefulness of local peoples. You can also get there by train from Katowice with a change in Bohumin or Ostrava and Cieszyn (with a change in Český Těšín). We get off at the Návsí train station, and then on foot for about 20 minutes. On the way, you can order good coffee and ice cream, and eat good Czech dishes in the town center.
