To put the title into context, Alta Vista is one of the most important sectors of the city of Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar state - Venezuela, being a sector of utmost importance in the commercial, financial and residential fields. In this area the largest modern infrastructure of the city is concentrated, as well as the most important shopping centers in the region, such as Orinokia; which has kilometers of construction with a great variety of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues for all visitors, as well as the Ciudad Alta Vista 1 and 2 shopping center, which have a large capacity of shops and among other things.
In addition, in Alta Vista you can find lodging places such as the Plaza Merú hotel, which is located in front of the Orinokia shopping center, a place that draws attention for its magnificent architecture although its lodging is very expensive but also other hotels or inns that are cheaper in the same area of Alta Vista, as well as a great variety of markets, pharmacies and among other stores of different types for the needs of those who visit the city and its citizens.
Also in Alta Vista we can find some amusement parks for the enjoyment of children and families, however the old amusement park of the city is in total abandonment, leaving only the Ferris wheel as an iconic image in the memory of many people who enjoyed moments in the park.
On the other hand, in the same vicinity of the Orinokia shopping center and the Plaza Merú hotel, we can find the Monumental Plaza, a place of recreation for citizens, in addition to having a modern architecture of a plaza, which welcomes people who pass through this area, with typical I love Puerto Ordaz, which is a perfect spot for those who want to take photos.
Of course there are many places in Alta Vista, which are necessary to show, such as the Christmas Park that I had already shown a post about this park, as well as other plazas and places of great interest for those who are interested in knowing the city, and who can know that within a practically short margin of territory you can find places to visit, in addition to the simple fact that in its vicinity you have everything you need.
Alta Vista is an example of what I have repeatedly said about the city's planning since the 60s, it was part of the progress and the vision of what this city could have been if it had not suffered from the country's poor economy, however lately there has been some progress in urban projects in the area, which allows it to continue growing as a city and part of the country's economy.
