Hoy les comparto mi visita al acuario y la sala de reptiles del Museo del Mar. Como ya mencioné, este museo está dividido en diferentes áreas donde los visitantes pueden aprender sobre diversas especies marinas. La sala del acuario cuenta con varios acuarios con peces de distintos colores, algunos naranjas y otros negros, que se mueven con gran rapidez. Detrás de ellos, hay una lámina con algas y plantas. Los acuarios son grandes y, junto a cada uno, hay una tarjeta que identifica a cada uno de estos hermosos peces.

Today I'm sharing my visit to the aquarium and reptile room at the Sea Museum. As I mentioned before, this museum is divided into different areas where visitors can learn about various marine species. The aquarium room has several aquariums with various fish, some orange and others black, that move very quickly. Behind them, there's a sheet with algae and plants. The aquariums are large, and next to each one, there's a card identifying each of these beautiful fish.

Next, we moved on to the reptile area, one of my favorites because it houses the turtle. This animal is notable for its shell, and although many people think they move slowly, they actually move quite quickly. The identification poster also shows other reptiles such as caimans, crocodiles, snakes, and land and sea turtles, as well as an ecosystem where we can observe these species coexisting. Moving on, we came to the skeleton area, where we saw a turtle. I was impressed by the turtle's eye sockets and the hardness of its shell. The skeleton belongs to a sea turtle, one of the smallest of all sea turtles, measuring 65 cm in length and weighing up to 500 grams. Looking at the skeleton from the side, you can see lateral openings, the bones of the front and hind legs, and the shape of its shell, which has a trapezoidal pattern.
All these skeletons are kept in glass boxes. Then we have another skeleton of a sea turtle, this one is brown, and a poster that tells us we are in the sea turtle area. There is also a very large brown shell that belongs to the Loggerhead or Caguama turtle.

On the other side of the aquariums, there's a wolf that looks incredibly realistic. In fact, when I saw it, I was particularly impressed by its lifelike eyes and the fact that the wolf was staring intently at the fox. It's also housed in a protective enclosure, and you can appreciate its fur and size from the side. There's also an animal known as the ravi pelado, which hunts birds like chickens and chicks. Another species found here is the otter. This exhibit brings together mammals and reptiles, and among the turtles, we have the land turtle and a freshwater turtle known as the mata mata, which is distinguished by the triangular shapes on its shell and its long, flattened head.
