After a lot planning to our trip to Italy, that I told you a little about it in my previous post, we were finally there, ready to discover the city of Napolis and experience authentic Napolitana pizza.

After eating the pizza accompanied by a great wine, we decided to walk to the port. That way we could see the city in more detail.
Ah, the pizza is wonderful, and we have excellent pizzas in São Paulo that compete side by side.
We found Naples very peculiar, with its narrow streets, colorful buildings and chaotic traffic. Many motorcycles between the cars that seemed to compete in a crazy race, many horns and maneuvers that only those who are used to local traffic in the region could do.

We walked along a main avenue called Via Casanova for about 2km to Castel Nuovo which would be the departure point for Capri.

We always hear about the beauties of Capri, a very famous island, and a popular tourist destination for its luxurious lifestyle.
We were looking forward to seeing the island. I remember that during planning, I thought about going to Ischia, however, as Capri has been a very famous and popular holiday destination for centuries, I couldn't resist. Ischia made the list.
Upon arriving there, we were greeted by the Airbnb host with incredible hospitality. I left my backpacks and before settling in I went to help my friend with his airbnb, since his English is basic and he still wasn't feeling confident to talk. Good thing he was so close.
When I returned, I was welcomed with wine and cheese, and we spent time talking about Capri, Brazil and my having an Italian family must have brought us closer together. We talked in a mixture of Italian and English, which was good for helping me unlock my arrugginito (rusty) Italian a little more.

The contrast of the green with the blue of the sea, rock formations and cliffs creates an incredible scenery.
It started to get cloudy, the clouds pass quickly over Capri, so the sun's rays alternated with the shadows of the clouds. And even with the shadows of the clouds, the beauty of the blue color of the sea continued. Impressive.
We continued on the trail and with each step we took, the view became more beautiful, especially when we saw the famous Faragioni.

As I strolled through the gardens, I felt a mixture of peace and turmoil from tourists wanting better spots to take pictures.

We took the opportunity to take a break for a picnic, eat a sandwich and fruit and spend some time before heading to the Belvedere di Punta Cannone to try to see the sunset. Try because there was a cloud to the west that indicated rain.
Amen to the view of the ocean, the garden is surprising for having a view of Via Krupp! This is one of the most famous and beautiful roads in Capri. It winds its way up the hillside, creating an engineering beauty that is mesmerizing.
Via Krupp was closed to visitors, but you could see the ingenuity needed to build it.
As I recall the story, Krupp asked to build this road so he could get to Marina Piccola beach, which was one of his favorite beaches on Capri.
We took a break for a picnic and took the opportunity to enjoy the view and make friends with this friendly gecko and this cat.

Quick summer rain, we managed to watch the sunset and went to dinner, wine and rest for the next day.
I already love Capri and would definitely go back. There are many things to do but you have to be prepared with your pocket.
One of the most expensive places we stayed on this trip to Italy.
But oddly enough, even being on an island, product prices in markets and meal prices in restaurants are fair and some things are cheaper than other regions we visited.
During dinner we discussed what to do the next day.
One of the options would be to visit the Gruta Azul, but with rough seas, we discarded it to do more trails.
So we decided that we would visit Anacapri and Monte Solaro.

Depois de planejar bastante nossa viagem para a Itália, que já contei um pouco no meu post anterior, finalmente chegamos, pronto para descobrir a cidade de Napolis e experimentar a autêntica pizza Napolitana.
O que acha de assistir antes o vídeo curto da chegada para entrar no clima?

Pegamos um táxi e pedimos para nós levar até a famosa pizzaria L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele, que ficou muito conhecida pelo filme Comer, Rezar, Amar. Uma amiga minha comentou e disse que foi uma das melhores pizzarias que ela esteve em Napoles.
Gostamos de recomendações!!!
No entanto, quando chegamos já tinha uma fila enorme e decidimos que seria melhor procurar outra pizzaria para experimentar a verdadeira pizza napolitana.
Por nossa sorte, a região tem varias pizzarias e escolhemos uma que nao decepcionou, a Pizzaria D'Angeli.
Com Um ambiente bem familiar e aconchegante, fomos super bem atendidos e nada melhor do que comer pizza com um bom vinho. Foi nossa primeira autêntica pizza napolitana da vida.
Consegui pedir falando em italiano, mas ainda bem tímido, mas que me deixou feliz por consegue falar e entender.
Depois de comer a pizza acompanhando um ótimo vinho, decidimos ir caminhando até o porto. Dessa forma poderíamos ver a cidade com mais detalhes.
Ah, a pizza é maravilhosa, e olha que temos excelentes pizzas em São Paulo que competem lado a lado.
Achamos Nápoles bem peculiar, com suas ruas estreitas, prédios coloridos e um trânsito caótico. Muitas motos entre os carros que parecia competir em uma corrida maluca, muitas buzinadas e manobras que só quem está acostumado com trânsito local da região conseguiria fazer.
Parece até que estou em São Paulo!!! 😅
Andamos por uma avenida principal chamada Via Casanova por cerca de 2km até o Castel Nuovo que seria o ponto de embarque para Capri.
Passando pela Universita degli Studi di Napoli Frederico II, sempre observando a arquitetura e movimento da cidade. O que nos lembrou muito de São Paulo, talvez pela forte influencia arquitetônica Italiana que alguns bairros de São Paulo tem ou talvez outro transito caótico.
Achamos uma loja da Vodafone pelo caminho e aproveitamos para comprar um SIM card, foi $25 para um mês de pacote pre pago. Demora algum tempo até ser registrado na operadora de celular, mas foi mais rápido do que a previsão, quando chegamos em Capri o celular já estava funcionando.
Fizemos uma pausa no Castel Nuovo e aproveitamos para passear na Galleria Umerto I enquanto esoerava pelo horário do barco para Capri.

O mar estava bem agitado, acredito que por isso a outra balsa foi cancelada, que era menor do que a que estávamos.
Com tempo quente e abafado dentro da balsa, decidi ficar na parte traseira, já estava um pouco mais tranquilo por conseguir embarcar e garantir a hospedagem em Capri. Senão, teríamos que passar noite em Napolis e perder um dia em Capri, alterando bastante o roteiro para não perder as outras passagens e hospedagens já feitas.
Fiquei muito feliz com essa escolha de ver o por do sol no mar. Para quem me acompanha por aqui sabe que adoro nascer e por do sol. Meus Dois momento favoritos do dia.
Tive esse insight durante o planejamento e nao sabia como seria, e isso me garantiu um dos melhores por do sol que já vi.
Raios de sol Entre as nuvens, pássaros voando. O mais difícil foi conseguir boas fotos com o barco balançando muito já que era proibido chegar na borda, tendi que me equilibrar sem muitos livros para me apoiar.
Achei também muito interessante poder ver o Vesúvio, é muito alto! Logo estaremos lá!
Capri
Ao chegar em Capri já era inicio de noite e ainda tinhamos uma caminhada, antes, um café para renovar energias.
Adorei o café italiano, acho que foi o primeiro que tomei, mas achei pouco.
Depois de sempre pedir 2 cafés, comecei a pedir pelo Doppo Expresso, ou seja, duas doses. O expresso é literalmente um gole!
Subimos por escadarias para chegar ao nosso Airbnb, e nessa hora levar mochilas valeu a pena para não ter que carregar grandes malas.
Sempre ouvimos falar sobre as belezas de Capri, ilha bem famosa, e um destino turístico popular pelo seu estilo de vida luxuoso.
Estavamos ansiosos para conhecer a ilha. Lembro que durante o planejamento, pensei em ir para Ischia, porém, como Capri tem sido um destino de férias para muito famoso e popular há séculos não resisti. Ischia entrou pra lista.
Ao chegarmos lá, fomos recebidos pelo anfitrião do Airbnb com uma hospitalidade incrível. Deixei minhas mochilas e antes de me instalar fui ajudar meu amigo com o airbnb dele, já que o inglês dele é básico e ele ainda não estava de sentindo confiante para conversar. Bom que era bem próximo.
Quando retornei, fui recebido com vinhos e queijos, e passamos um tempo conversando sobre Capri, Brasil e sobre eu ter família italiana deve ter nos aproximado. Conversamos em uma mistura de italiano e inglês, o que foi bom para me ajudar a destravar um pouco mais meu italiano arrugginito (enferrujado).
O Tonino acabou virando um amigo, conversamos de vez em quando por WhatsApp até hoje. Se quiser, já marca o Airbnb dele para quando for visitar Capri: U' Pizzico ( the pinch ). Super indico.

Na manhã seguinte, recebi um café da manhã de respeito e ganhei diversas dicas de trilhas para fazer, melhor caminho e locais para visitar. Tonino foi super! Me explicou, desenhou no mapa e me mostrou algumas rotas e dicas interessantes.
Ele me deu um mapa que guardei de recordação até hoje e explicou algumas rotas de trilhas, dicas sobre a ilha, e lugares legais para visitar.
Segundo o Google Maps, caminhamos 13Km neste dia.
Saimos então para explorar Capri. A primeira parada foi o mercado, compramos água, sucos, frutas e sanduíches.
Enquanto isso, decidimos ir primeiro para a praia e depois fazer trilha até Arco Natural passando pela praça centro e depois chegar a tempo de ver o por do sol no mirante Belvedere.
A praia escolhida foi a Marina Piccola. Para chegar lá como quase tudo em Capri, escadas. Confira os joelhos antes de ir para Capri, tem que estar em forma.

Marina Piccola
A praia Marina Piccola é muito linda, com aguas claras e uma uma atmosfera de muita paz, cercada por um penhasco que torna uma praia bem diferenciada. Realmente um cenário cinematográfico muito lindo.
A praia em si é pequena, dai que bem o nome Piccola. E Marina é devido suas águas calmas, que nesta epoca, não estavam tão calmas assim, mar agitado com ondas, mas durante alguns epocas vira uma piscina.
Em vez de areia, temos pedras, o que foi bem diferente para quem está acostumado com as praias brasileiras de areia fina, mas foi um lugar perfeito para relaxar, nadar e aproveitar o sol.
Outra coisa que chamou atenção de estar em Marina Piccola foi a vista para os Faraglioni, o conjunto de formações rochosas que se erguem do mar ao largo da costa.
Acho que essas rochas são um dos símbolos mais icônicos de Capri e não tem como ir para ilha sem ver eles, seja por mar ou por terra.
Alguns restaurantes e bares na praia, beach club para relaxar e tomar aquele drink para refrescar.

No horário de continuar nosso trajeto, consideramos voltar andando, porém, descobrimos que tem um ônibus que leva até a praça central. Melhor economizar os joelhos e não subir aquelas escadarias.
Já estavamos cientes que diversos lugares da itália seria assim, subindo e descendo escadas e morros.
Depois seguimos destino o arco natural, passando pela praça central de Capri, a
Piazzetta, que é a praça central de Capri cheia de cafés, lojas e restaurantes, lugar para sentar, relaxar e absorver a atmosfera mediterrânea com vista do Mar.

Depois de curvas sinuosas no ônibus, chegamos ao coração de Capri, a praça Piazzetta.
A praça é realmente deslumbrante, Vistas incríveis com Mistura de sofisticação e luxo das lugar e restaurantes entre praças charmosas.
Nesta parte de Capri foi onde encontramos mais turistas, diferente da praia que estava bem tranquila.
Aqui pessoas tomando café, entrando e saindo das lojas, comendo nos restaurantes e revesando para tirar fotos de esculturas e vistas enquanto os mini carros passavam entre as pessoas.
Um outro cartão postal de Capri, é a torre do relógio, que se ergue imponente no centro da praça. Achei lindo!
Não queríamos ficar muito tempo por ali, mas foi difícil a resistir em ficar observando o visual da ilha e do mar. Um bom momento para café, uma água para hidratar e seguir até o Arco Naturale.
Achei essa praça bem charmosa, rica em história e arquitetura, beleza e cultura, e por estar no centro de Capri, será difícil andar por lá sem passar por essa praça.
Depois do café e se hidratar, hora de seguir a trilha.
Depois de sair da Piazzetta, a trilha torna-se novamente mais íngreme à caminho do Arco, O trecho final da trilha tem bastante pedras soltas, portanto, todo cuidado é pouco, ninguém quer se machucar na primeira caminhada da viagem.
Uma das coisas que adoramos foram as fontes de agua espalhadas por toda ilha. Uma água pura e sempre fresca, que ajudou muito no calor que estava fazendo.

Arco Naturale é um arco de pedras. Me falaram que é um dos destinos mais procurando por quem quer caminhar pela ilha. Ele emoldura uma bela vista do mar
Como nome já diz, ele e uma formação rochosa natural que foi esculpida pelo vento e pelo mar ao longo de milhares de anos.
Achei tudo um espetáculo, desde a caminhada pelas trilhas cheias de vegetação local, plantas e locais que transmitiram paz sem muitos turistas.
O contraste do verde com azul do mar, formação rochosas e penhascos cria um cenário incrível
Começou ficar nublado, as nuvens passam rápido por Capri, então revesava raios de sol com as sombras da nuvens. E mesmo com as sombras das nuvens, a beleza da cor azul do mar continuava. Impressionante.
Continuamos trilha e cada passo que dava, mais beleza a vista, principalmente quando avistava os famosos Faraghioni.
A trilha continua ao longo da costa, e as lindas vistas continuam para onde quer que olhe. O mar ou os penhascos. Coleção de Paisagens incríveis.
A caminhada foi fácil para nós, mas pode ser desafiadora para quem não tem muita experiência em trilhas. Pedras soltas pelo caminho, areia e terra em algumas partes, com terreno irregular em diversas partes que tornam o trajeto escorregadio. Mas garanto que vale o esforço.
Durante diversos pontos da trilha do arco natural até Belvedere Tragara era possível ver o Faraglioni.
Mas mesmo o Belvedere Tragara estar localizado mais oficina deles, achei que a vista do Belvedere di Punta Cannone é mais bonita.

Giardini di Augusto
Ao passear pelos jardins, senti uma mistura de paz com tumulto dos turistas querendo melhores pontos para tirar fotos.
Para entrar no Jardim, uma pequena taxa é cobrada. Vale a pena por nao ser caro e ter vista muito bela.
Aproveitamos para fazer uma pausa para um picnic, comer sanduíche e frutas e passar um tempo antes de seguir para o Belvedere di Punta Cannone para tentar ver por do sol. Tentar porque tinha uma nuvem a oeste que indicava chuva.
Amém da vista do oceano, o jardim surpreende por ter uma vista a Via Krupp! Essa é Uma das estradas mais famosas e bonitas de Capri. Ela serpenteia a encosta, criando uma beleza de engeharia que é fascinante.
A via Krupp estava fechada para visitação, mas dava para perceber a engenhosidade necessária para construir ela.
Pelo que lembro da história, Krupp pediu para construir essa estrada para que ele pudesse chegar até a praia Marina Piccola, que era uma de suas praia favorita em Capri.
Fizemos uma pausa para um picnic e aproveitamos para apreciar a vista e fazer amizades com essa simpática lagartixa e esse gato.
A lagartixa saia de perto e logo voltava para ver se sobrava um pedaço do sanduiche para ela. Enquanto esse gato não quis me dar atenção no início mas consegui conquistar a confiança e aproveitei para tirar várias fotos dele. Lindo não é?
Você irá encontrar vários gatos em Capri, senti falta dos cachorros, que são comuns nos litorais brasileiros.
Dos jardins, continuamos o caminho em direção ao Belvedere di Punta Cannone, um mirante panorâmico vistas deslumbrantes do pôr do sol e dos Faraglioni.
O proximo desafio seria chegar no Mirante para ver o por do sol.

Ao chegar ao Belvedere di Punta Cannone, você tem um banco para sentar e assistir ao pôr do sol e apreciar a vista.
Uma árvore chama atenção e logo atrás Essas imponentes formações rochosas surgem do mar.
Me lembrou muito o morro dois irmão de Fernando de Noronha.
Não tem muito o que falar, as fotos dizem mais. Essas formações rochosas realmente são bem imponentes e fazem uma paisagem bem legal de see ver. Quando o sol bate nos morros, else brilham muito.

Chuva rápida de verão, conseguimos assistir o por do sol e seguimos para jantar, tomar vinho e descansar para próximo dia.
Já amo Capri e com certeza voltaria. Tem muitas coisas para fazer mas tem que estar com bolso preparado.
Um dos locais mais caros que nos hospedamos nessa viagem para a Itália.
Mas por incrível que pareça, mesmo estando em uma ilha, os preços dos produtos nos mercados e os valores das refeições nos restaurantes são justos e algumas coisas mais baratas do que outras regiões que visitamos.
Durante jantar discutimos sobre o que fazer no dia seguinte.
Uma das opções seria visitar a Gruta Azul, mas com mar agitado, descartamos para fazer mais trilhas.
Decidimos então que iríamos visitar Anacapri e Monte Solaro.
Mas isso vai ser história para o proximo post. Espero que tenha gostado desse primeiro dia em Capri e logo mais teremos mais aventuras.
