Pokhara is located the lap of Himalayas. The valley is home to great lakes of Nepal in the shade of exquisite Himalayan range. With time, this city has become an epicenter of trade and hospitality. Whenever I make my visit to Pokhara, the best thing to do is to stroll around the street. And , dusk is best time to do so. This blog is to take you on walk to streets of Pokhara.
The best thing to do is stroll around the Phewa lake and enjoy the serenity of the blue water hugged by the high-hills. Some People spent time canoeing and while the other looks them boating. I feel sometimes its fun to watch other do recreational spots.
On the other side are the local vendors, selling or preparing dishes for the passers by. Usually, these lanes are filled with local fast food stalls. From aged to young, all have their own business. Preferable to locals, the food stalls make quite a business. You might wanted to try the food, but its quite expensive in comparison to what you get in the outskirts of Pokhara.
And on the other side of lane, is the Lake side Market. A mixture of both normal and luxury shops provides a beautiful scape to the market. Mostly filled with clothes and souvenir and Restaurants, these are a part of the shine of the market. From Kashmiri shawl, to emerald, and to foods of the world, You get whatever you desire here in Pokhara.
Also the lane is so small, it gets hectic during the night. And if you want to bicycle or ride around, there are plenty "bike on hire" shops that could provide you such facility. In a total space, its one great time to spent with all the lightings and ambience. If you desire, make sure to enter and enjoy with your loved ones.
Hope you enjoyed going through the streets and around the lake in Pokhara.
