Chinatown is the place to go.
Not only you get to experience a little bit of a different culture, than what we are used to but also you get to have a great time and awesome experience.
For me, as a Londoner, every time I am around, I always make a cut and walk through Chinatown because it is such a great area.
This are is in Central London and just next to so many other popular and famous areas. Down below you can see where to find Chinatown and also an official and simplified map of the area, that marks some of the most popular places.

Pretty Street, great vibes
Even if you are not planning on stopping by in any of the restaurants, shops or pharmacies, this is still a great area to just walk around.
But remember, it is always busy. So be prepared to have a lot of people.
And here's a tip. If you are planning on going to grab a meal or even a snack. Actually avoid meal times, and go earlier or later than the "regular" time that the majority of people eat. Otherwise, you risk to be waiting in queues for a really long time.
Remember to check also all the smaller side streets, because you can find a lot of precious shops and restaurants.
The most authentic you can find
If you are looking for the most authentic Chinese experience this is the place to go. The best food and snacks.
The most authentic ones.
Don't get me wrong, You will still find places and options that are way more Westernised but here is the best place to run away from that.
From the Restaurants, to the minimarkets with authentic Chinese products, to the many pharmacies that provide a lot of Chinese non traditional Medicine.
If you can't find it here you probably won't be able to find it anywhere else in London.
And the fact that you see a huge affluence of not only Chinese but many Asian People, even from other countries to come here often to eat and shop. It shows that this is the real thing. Because otherwise you would only see tourists around.
Remember, when visiting to be respectful to the culture and the people. That is very important.
As you can tell, I don't have anything bad to say about Chinatown in London, other than it is always busy and if you are planning to go for a meal, you might have to queue to get in your favourite place.
I keep going back. I have had meals in many of the restaurants and also, whenever there is a new Chinese trend arriving, I try to go and taste it.
Chinatown is definitely a place to stop and enjoy. If you are in London and you don't go there, what are you even doing?
