I’m back to Hive after a time to look for an interesting thing to share with you guys. Hoi An is the place I would like to mention on #Haveyoubeenhere community with you today. Actually, Hoi An is one of the rare ancient cities still preserved almost intact and is also famous for visiting in Asean and in Viet Nam as well. I know that there are also many posts in our community about Hoi An. The best time to visit this beautiful place
Hoi An has a tropical monsoon climate with a distinct two-season climate. It will be more preferred for traveling to Hoi An in the dry season (January - July). The best time to visit is at the beginning of summer, the weather is cool and the sun is not too hot. Besides that you also go there in autumn, this time, there are many activities and festivals for travelers but It should be noted that rain in this season is quite persistent, and sometimes causes flooding so you can take a long day just enjoy a cup of coffee without being able to go anywhere. Especially, The most special occasion to visit this city is on the full moon day of every month. The old town will turn off all the lights and be lit up with shimmering, colorful lanterns
How to get to Hoi An from Da Nang.
Located on Thu Bon river, belonging to Quang Nam province in the center of VietNam, Hoi An is a small city with many exciting things to visit. It’s around 30 km from Da Nang international airport, there are many ways for you to get to Hoi An. You can go there by bus (100.000vnd/way )or by private car(200.000vnd/way) provided by a travel agency company. If you visit Hoi An with your friend, You also can rent a motorbike at a cheap price and visit some places on the way to Hoi An.
Where to stay during your time in Hoi An.
Because of is a tourism city in Vietnam, there are many types of accommodation like homestay or hotels. If you would like to stay in a place near the city center, a hotel will be the best choice. From your hotel, you can walk in around 5 minutes to the old town city to explore.

After graduation, I got the opportunity to work in this city for 3 years. Honestly, The old town-style streets in Hoi An are always crowded with tourists. In the heart of the street, visitors can only use bicycles, cyclos, or walk to take pictures. In addition, Hoi An is most beautiful when the lights are on, walking around Hoi An at night is the best. Pretty lanterns shine overhead. The roofs have unique ancient architecture. Bustling shops and night markets. All create a very unique Hoi An.
The bridge pagoda.
For a long time, the bridge pagoda has become a symbol of Hoi An. Visiting Hoi An you cannot miss visiting the bridge pagoda once. Bridge pogoda in Hoi An is always proud and also a majestic living witness to the glorious history of this old town. This is especially the place to create super beautiful, super virtual photos. Visitors will always take the time to save photos of a bridge with a soft bend, crossing the romantic riverbank.
Nighttime- nice experience in the old town city.
Visiting by boat is one of the most interesting activities in Hoi An. Visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of the Old Town at night time. Boating in Hoi An always brings the most gentle and peaceful feelings, any stress at work or tiredness on a busy day will be released as you experience this activity. Phuc Kien and Trieu Chau Assembly Hall
Both of these places were built in the 19th century. After many restorations, the assembly hall still retains its distinctive architectural features with the three-door gate, the shrine, and the large incense rings that bring a sacred atmosphere to the temple. Coming here, you will admire the exquisitely carved architectural works in a unique Chinese art architectural space
Hoi An market- Night market- nice food and souvenirs in the old city.
Hoi An Market is one of the tourist areas in Hoi An that attracts many tourists to visit and shop. You can find many typical specialties, handicrafts as well as enjoy many delicious and attractive dishes here. Coming to Hoi An market, you can also exchange and chat with local people and have more experiences about the daily life of the people here.
This is one of the most crowded gathering places in Hoi An. Dozens of handicraft stalls and souvenirs are sold here, in the shimmering, nostalgic space of colorful lanterns. Just walking around the night market, you can enjoy the special dishes, diverse and rich cuisine imbued with the people of central Vietnam.
As the most prominent city in the tourist manual of Central Vietnam, Hoi An city with its peaceful, simple, rustic, and poetic beauty has captivated many tourists.
