Hello, gentle readers. πŸƒ

pic.jpg

Now, we are bound to Mt. Tres Marias. Located at Biliran, Leyte.

Mt. Tres Marias towering a height of 1315 MASL and is the highest mountain in Biliran and also the second highest mountain in Region 8, Philippines.

Mt. Tres Marias name was derived due to the fact that it comprises three mountain peaks which are the following: First the peak which was the Mt. Sugo, second was Mt. Naliwatan and the 3rd peak was the main Tres Marias

After weeks of weeks of preparation. Here we are ready to explore Mt. Tres Marias.

1.jpg

We finally here at Cebu Port bound to Leyte and that would be our first stop or our access bound to Naval, Biliran where we can find the enchanting Mt. Tres Marias.

3.jpg

4.jpg

We started already our boarding. And we all are excited and very much confident that every thing would be well. From Palompon, Leyte Port we just hail a van for hire bound to Naval for a smooth ride and after hours of the journey we finally arrived at Naval.

5.jpg

And this moment, finally we are able to find a transpo bound to the jump off area, located at Sampao.

6.jpg

First we loaded some juice for our vehicle. And bought some goods on the way.

7.jpg

See what goods did we bought. Just a sip of a taste of a fighter wine or locally known for Kulafu. Just to make us even more excited through out the journey, not to make it boring ang tiring.

8.jpg

See how we ride the jeep. Even if there was enough space below but we would like to experience riding jeeps being at the top. Top load. And it never failed me. The view from the top. Just jaw-dropping.

9.jpg

10.jpg

Look at the background. That was a snippet view of Mt. Tres Marias.

11.jpg

Before we started our journey, we first then took a picture of the whole gang exploring Mt. Tres Marias. Those happy faces afterwards would turn to greatness after we all experience the Mt. Tres Marias.

12.jpg

Our first step to the trail. The trail it self is giving.

13.jpg

After hours of walking we finally arrived at our first camp. That would be my man cave for the night. We are early at the camp side due to the decision of our guide not to take the first peak because of the time constraint and some of our acquaintances are not able to catch up with those who are ahead of us on the trail then we all might get caught with darkness and the trail much be even harder.

14.jpg

So, at the campsite the in-charge for the cooking was able to cook food early and after such we socialize by means of drinking alcoholic drinks.

15.jpg

16.jpg

Early in the morning. It's coffee time.

18.jpg

That's me ready to explore the 2nd Peak of the Mt. Tres Marias and it's going to be a rough day ahead. But we are always ready.

19.jpg

And that's Harley, Our Guide, and Te Hanhan (from left to right)

20.jpg

Junction Point bound to the 2nd Peak and others are waiting at the river stream.

21.jpg

22.jpg

And that's the view at the top. The mountain you saw was the 1st Peak of Tres Marias if I'm not mistaken.

23.jpg

A long day of walk we already arrived at the 2nd Campsite. That area would be our home for the night.

24.jpg

Always having a good time at the campsite. Some others are preparing foods and us just having a coffee break.

25.jpg

The next day it was the start of our journey to the 3rd Peak.

26.jpg

27.jpg

That's us having a moment. What a breath of fresh air.

28.jpg

Me at the top of the mountain. Having a good time feeling the air waves.

29.jpg

That's a pitcher plant. It does contain water from the inside and if you can saw one of those not open. You can drink the water inside it.

29.1.jpg

Us, after our trail to the 3rd Peak and now we are about to face lots of downhill so we better be ready not to crack our knees.

30.jpg

At this moment we are about to experience and be with the nature. We are about to take a dive, slide through the falls but with precautions because Mt. Tres Marias was the home of vipers.

31.jpg

Another coffee time, Harley was brewing for us. The girls standing we call he Atorn because she's a Lawyer. And thanks to her she brought a packed of ground coffee. And next to her was our local guide an Aeta.

31.1.jpg

This taken photo makes me awe. Be with nature. Nature never goes out of style.

32.jpg

Our lunch. Thank you for the sponsors.

33.jpg

34.jpg

On our way to our graceful exit.

35.jpg

We bumped to this beautiful stream.

36.jpg

And finally we saw that we are already near to exit and we really feel excited and yet tired but definitely worth it.

37.jpg

Side trip but its just at the exit of the trail.

38.jpg

People flocked to the falls just to remove the heat from the body and just simple enjoy the nature.

39.jpg

Our exit group photo.
