Hola a todos soy Rafa Sanz y quiero extrenarme en esta comunidad contándoles sobre un vieje que hice en una ocasión especial y con una persona especial. Un viaje impregando de la magia del día de los enamorados pero esta vez en un lugar que nunca había tenido el placer de visitar nu yo ni mi novia quien pasaba conmigo nuestro 1er San Valentín juntos. Salimos muy temprano ese día a pesar de no haber dormido mucho ya que la celebración había comenzado desde el día antes con una comida en el restaurante japonés Fuumiyaki.

Hello everyone, I'm Rafa Sanz and I want to expand on this community by telling you about an old thing I did on a special occasion and with a special person. A trip filled with the magic of Valentine's Day but this time in a place that I and my girlfriend, who was spending our 1st Valentine's Day together, had never had the pleasure of visiting. We left very early that day despite not having slept much since the celebration had started the day before with a meal at the Japanese restaurant Fuumiyaki.

En fin como les decía, que pierdo el hilo😂, salimos tempranito del día 14 de febrero, sobre las 3am y para el amanecer ya estábamos en el mirador del Valle de los Ingenios en la provincia de Sacti Spiritus. Ahí disfrutamos de hermosas vistas que compartiré con ustedes, como fotógrafo al fin llevé la cámara así q muchas de las fotos que estaré mostrando las hice con mi **Canon Rebel t1i **. El clima era perfecto y el ambiente muy agradable.

Anyway, as I told you, I'm losing the thread😂, we left early on February 14, around 3am and by dawn we were already at the Valle de los Ingenios viewpoint in the province of Sacti Spiritus. There we enjoyed beautiful views that I will share with you, as a photographer I finally took the camera so many of the photos that I will be showing were taken with my Canon Rebel t1i. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere very pleasant.

Posteriormente volvimos al bus y fuimos a visitar Manaca Iznaga un pueblo con años de historia aquí en nuestro país y con una cultura local muy enfocada al turismo, también con un café excelente que sirven curiosamente con un pedacito de caña de azúcar en alusión a que el lugar solía ser una hacienda especializada en la producción de azúcar.

Later we returned to the bus and went to visit Manaca Iznaga, a town with years of history here in our country and with a local culture very focused on tourism, also with an excellent coffee that is curiously served with a piece of sugar cane in reference to the fact that the The place used to be a farm specialized in the production of sugar.

De ahí fuimos a subir la torre de la hacienda (Foto inicial del Post) que se usaba tanto para la vigilancia del lugar por su amplia vista de buena parted del lugar, como para dar avisos mediante la campana de la torre a los esclavos que allí trabajaban y para llegar a la torre pasamos también por la casa Hacienda.

From there we went to climb the tower of the hacienda (initial photo of the Post) which was used both for surveillance of the place due to its wide view of a good part of the place, and to give warnings through the bell of the tower to the slaves there. They were working and to get to the tower we also passed through the farm house.

En la base de la torre había un hombre con un Cernícalo (un ave pariente del halcón pero más pequeña) para que los visitantes se tomaran fotos.

At the base of the tower there was a man with a Kestrel (a bird related to the falcon but smaller) for visitors to take photos.

Comenzamos a subir la torre y mi novia se quedó en medio pero yo quise subir hasta lo más alto para poder fotografiar las hermosas vistas del antiguo pueblo. La torre tiene 45m de altos distribuidos en 7 pisos y cuenta la leyenda que la torre fue el fruto de un triángulo amoroso entre los hermanos y ricos hacendados Pedro y Alejo Iznaga y una joven local. Los hermanos decidieron probar su amor compitiendo a ver quién hacía la obra de mayor magnitud. Entonces Alejo levantó la torre de 45m y Pedro excavó un pozo de 28m de profundidad que aún hoy es usado por los habitantes locales. Aquí les muestro algunas fotos de las vistas desde la torre.

We started to climb the tower and my girlfriend stayed in the middle but I wanted to climb to the top so I could photograph the beautiful views of the old town. The tower is 45m high distributed over 7 floors and legend has it that the tower was the fruit of a love triangle between the brothers and rich landowners Pedro and Alejo Iznaga and a young local girl. The brothers decided to test their love by competing to see who could do the greatest work. Then Alejo raised the 45m tower and Pedro dug a 28m deep well that is still used today by the local inhabitants. Here I show you some photos of the views from the tower.

Luego de Manaca Iznaga visitamos la casa de la cerveza y frente a las ruinas de la Iglesia de Santa Ana en Trinidad. Donde por supuesto probé un poco de cerveza artesanal e incluso mi novia me tomó mi foto de perfil actual en HIVE.

After Manaca Iznaga we visited the beer house and in front of the ruins of the Church of Santa Ana in Trinidad. Where of course I tried some craft beer and even had my girlfriend take my current profile picture on HIVE.

Finalmente abandonamos el poblado y nos dirigimos hacia nuestro destino final, el Hotel Ancón ubicado en la playa hermosa playa espirituana con el mismo nombre del hotel. Ahí disfrutamos de un agradable día en la playa, tomamos agua de coco con ron, paseamos en bicicleta acuática, en fin, la pasamos más que genial para terminar el día cansados pero con sonrisas en nuestros rostros.

Finally we left the town and headed towards our final destination, the Hotel Ancón located on the beautiful beach of Sancti Spiritus with the same name as the hotel. There we enjoyed a pleasant day on the beach, drank coconut water with rum, rode a water bike, in short, we had a great time ending the day tired but with smiles on our faces.

Al final nos quedamos con un buen sabor de boca por la genial experiencia que vivimos ese día, esperamos repetir en otras ocasiones tanto en ese destino como en otros lugares. In the end we were left with a good taste in our mouths for the great experience we had that day, we hope to repeat it on other occasions both in that destination and in other places.
