I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. Today's post of mine is about the bravery of the Indian Army. In which I present to you here with the photographs of the memorial and museum located in Leh and managed by the Indian Army. Located in Leh, the capital of the Indian-administered Union Territory of Ladakh, the Hall of Fame serves as both a museum and a memorial. Leh is a beautiful memorial located 4 km from Leh on the Kargil Highway. Hall of fame timings are 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 7 pm. The Hall of Fame is completely managed by the Indian Army. A person coming here has to take a ticket which costs 25 rupees.
Naturally, the hall of fame is surrounded by beautiful mountains from all sides. The entrance of the hall of fame is also very attractive. Here at the entrance also the Jeep Top and Log Range Top used by the Indian Army are placed. Which is also one of the main attractions entering the hall of fame. Lord Buddha is enshrined right in front of the entrance to the hall of fame. The hall of fame was established by the Indian Army to honor the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers who served in the challenging terrains of Ladakh and especially during the Indo-Pakistani conflict.
As you enter the hall of fame, a beautiful statue will appear in front of you. Beside it is a map listing the famous and must-see places in and around Leh. Information about the direction and distance from Leh to each place shown in the map is available. Apart from that, there is also a map of the hall of fame on the same wall. Where you can see where you are standing. And in which direction you want to move. If you go further, all the information about what you will see in the hall of fame is found in the map.
On the same wall, the bravery of the Indian Army can also be seen in that frame. In which some moments captured during the war have been placed in that frame. Apart from this, in the second photograph, the rescue work done by the Indian Army is also shown in the second photo frame. The Hall of Fame was created in the early 1990s. The Kargil conflict is an important part in the history of India. Because Indian soldiers fought against Pakistani infiltrators in the Kargil highlands. The battle showed the strategic importance of the region and the bravery of the soldiers involved. Which can also be seen in the photographs here.
In the hall of fame, apart from the war, there are also statues depicting the dress and public life of the people here. In which the old utensils used by the local people and the necessary wooden utensils have also been placed in the museum. The Hall of Fame provides visitors with important information about the history, geography and strategic importance of the Ladakh region. Along with this, tributes to the sacrifices of the soldiers from each country have also been presented here.

As can be seen in the above photograph, the Hall of Fame has well preserved and exhibited various weapons and equipment used by the Indian Army during various conflicts including the Kargil War. Items on display include rifles, communication devices and other military gear. The guns seen in the beginning are very old which were used in earlier wars.
In the first photograph above are exhibits showing diaries and personal accounts written by soldiers. which shed light on their experiences and the challenges they have faced. Along with that, various weapons used in war like machine guns and hand rocket launchers can also be seen.
All the gear the soldiers needed to climb the icy mountains in the hall of fame can be seen in the photograph above. In which Snow Ax can be said to be the main weapon of the soldiers, along with it thermals that cover the whole body and protect from cold can also be seen on display. Commemorative photographs of Operation Vijay can also be seen here. It can be seen in the photograph that how much load the soldiers have to carry on their body in that difficult situation is seen here.
A model of helicopter was also presented there and I have shared it with you here. Apart from that, the national flag of India can also be seen in the above photograph. Which is beautifully visible among the different flags. Hall of Fame important documents, maps and charts are on display for viewing in glass cases. which details the strategic importance and military operations of Ladakh.
n the above three photographs the information is also given along with the geographical map of Ladakh. Apart from that high passes and valleys in Ladakh can be seen with their names and locations. Information about how soldiers maintain their health in extreme conditions can also be found here.
