Imahica Art Gallery: A Place to Admire Arts & NFTs in Metro Manila

The Hive Team from Davao City visited one of the most popular art galleries in Metro Manila, the Imahica Art Gallery, a place to admire traditional arts and NFTs, also the venue of the Bitskwela-organized event dubbed "Bull or Bear: Brushes & Pixels," held last June 16, 2023.

The Imahica Art Gallery is located on the second floor of the Lee Gardens, particularly in Room 2A Lee Gardens, Shaw Boulevard corner Lee Street Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is open daily from Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM.

How to Get There:

There are many ways to get to Lee Gardens Commercial Center in Mandaluyong City, based on our experience it is easier to ride a taxi from anywhere in Metro Manila if you have the money to spare. We rode a taxi from Robinsons Galleria in Mandaluyong and paid around Php150.00 ($2.70) for the fare.

The easiest or most affordable way to get to Lee Gardens is through various Public Transport systems such as utilizing the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) trains and drop-by at Ortigas MRT Station it will take you just take around 15 minutes if you want to walk directly to Lee Gardens via Shaw Boulevard.

If you want to ride a bus or a public utility jeepney on your way to Lee Gardens Commercial Center, it will pass through Shaw Boulevard and Luna Mencias Intersection in Mandaluyong City.

There are also buses that pass through the Lee Gardens such as Antipolo to Divisoria buses via Shaw Boulevard.

Jeepney routes that pass through Lee Gardens include the following, Antipolo to JRC Ortigas via Shaw; Pasig to Stop Shop; Pasig to Quiapo via Santa Mesa; Antipolo Bayan to SM Taytay; Antipolo to JRU Rosario; Binangonan to JRC via Angono; EDSA Shaw to Quiapo via Santa Mesa; Pasig to Quiapo via Sta. Mesa; and EDSA/Shaw Central to Kalenton/JRC to name a few.

Going Inside the Lee Gardens Commercial Center:

We went to the Lee Gardens Commercial Center to attend the Bull or Bear NFT Debate by riding in a taxi and we alighted from the taxi through the Lee Street entrance of the building.

The Imahica Art Gallery is located on the second floor of the Lee Gardens Commercial Center.

Hive Team from Davao City Arrived at Lee Gardens:

The Hive Team from Davao City arrived first at the venue of the Bull or Bear NFT Debate held on the second floor of the Lee Gardens, inside the Imahica Arts Gallery.

Upon arriving at the venue, while waiting for other guests to arrive we toured around the art gallery and were awestruck with the various arts display showcasing the work of arts by Filipino artists inside the gallery.

The Hive Team headed by DBuzz founder Chris Rice and his co-founder and blockchain developer Nathan Senn were at the venue to participate in the Bull or Bear event, wherein Nathan was also given at least 5 minutes for a keynote speech presenting the common problems of Web2 social media and how Hive solved the problems through cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

What is Imahica Art Gallery:

According to the official website of Imahica, they have around 103 inventory of artworks from various Filipino artists. They featured curated works of distinguished and emerging Filipino artists, and it was not made possible without the support of their dedicated sponsors and partners.

Imahica partnered with various personalities and well-known companies such as Fulgar Architects, Fabrication Manila, PhilBig, and Khaothu Builders.

The independent art gallery exhibits contemporary art and is one of the Philippines' newest venues. Imahica's mission is to focus on both emerging and established artists and contributes significantly to the range, experience, and understanding of new art collections or investments in the Philippines and worldwide.

Imahica Arts Gallery hosts a variety of one-of-a-kind contemporary exhibitions, shows, exhibits, meetings, workshops, tours, and online activities. It was founded in 2021 as an independent art gallery.
