Justamente en la Vereda o Paseo del Lago podemos encontrar, el monumento de la Batalla Naval del Lago que busca rendir un tributo al 200 aniversaroo de dicha batalla, cabe destacar que este momumento fue inagurado el 24 de Julio del presente año, este espacio es muy hermoso y lo podemos rncontrar en este espacio. Expresa la cruzada historica entre Venezuela y España, que le permitio obtener la exitosa Victoria a nuestro pais para poder liberanos de su yugo, este monumento se encuentra dividido en tres partes como lo es la galería fotográfica, el ejercito del Almirante Padilla quien fue que comando por Venezuela dicha batalla, los barcos que estuvieron en la batalla, también se encuentra el ejercito español del otro lado del monumento exaltando sus personajes mas importante.
Al llegar al momento podemos encontrar la ruta bicentenaria como también el logo de la Batalla Naval del Lago de Maracaibo a sus 200 años, como un muro de bienvenida detrás del mismo se encuentra una galería linfografica que busca explicar y dar a conocer cada uno de los personajes ilustres que hicieron vida dentro de esta Batalla, así como tambien explicara cada una de las partes que integran las distintas partes de este momumento, cabe destacar que el concepto principal que manifiesta este monumento aparte de los 200 años de aniversario de esta batallan, también rinde un tributo a la fuerza de la armada.

El monumento se extiende aproximadamente unos 6.500 metros de largo por la orilla de la Vereda del Lago, cabe destacar que dicho monumento fue construido por el cuerpo de ingenieros civiles de la Fuerza Armada de Venezuela en conjunto con el comandante Aníbal José Brito Hernández quien fue quien comando de manera general esta obra.
Justamente en la primera parte del Momumento se puede encontrar la agrupación libertadora constituida por seis caballos y nueve escultura la que se encuentra en el centro esta el Almirante Padilla que posee una mano esta agarrando su espada y en la otra señala los Barcos de la Batalla.

En todo el centro de los barcos esto se encuentra encima de la fuente de agua de poca profundidad y ahí justo en su centro se puede envontrar los 5 protagnistas de la batalla Naval del Lago, tres del ejercito Venezuela y dos del ejercito español quienes despues tuvieron que aceptar la derrrota y formar su derrota.
Por ultimo al final del monumento se encuentra en el piso una gran brújula plasmada en el piso, con un mástil, es bonito ver cierta recuperación de espacio en nuestra ciudad de Maracaibo que busquen dar aa conocer parte de nuestra independencia las futuras generaciones que quizás desconocan.
