welcome to my blog . I am so glad that you are here again. Hope you all are good and enjoying yourself. I am also good and here with a new blog .
Today i want to continue my series of exploring kutch ( gujrat). I have been living here for 4 years...And many places are new for me . So whenever we get a chance, we go out to explore this beautiful area.
Someday ago we visit a place which is not so far to our place. That day weather was cool and in the evening i headed to this temple for the first time.
It is situated in the anjar area near antarjal , kutch , Gujarat (India).
A famous temple of the kutch, which is 900 years old. The temple is dedicated to 64 goddess (jogini). People believe that goddess always live there and fulfill of wishes who pray from the heart.
Here you can see the main icon of this temple, 64 icon of goddess.
And here you can see the name of all goddess in the Hindi language.
This is the gate ( entrence) of the temple in the golden colour, i really don't know is this gold or not, But this flower and leaves art with red stone is very beautiful and unique.
This is a big temple,which has 3-4 entrance, You can see a glimpse of the 2 entrances here.
As I told you, this is a 900 year old ancient temple, you can see ancient architecture here. The one is gallary and next is a door of a room. Earlier there used to be gates and windows made of jali like this.
It is really nice to see and explore ancient and rare things.
There is also a pool here for bathing, It is said that the Jogni Mata used to come here. But sadly this part of this temple is not so maintained.
In the next picture you can see a house made by stone. It is believed that whoever builds a house here with stone, goddess fulfill his wish of a new house soon.
The area of this temple is very large, where there are 2 gardens, a big parking area and on the other side there is a beautiful watery view, whose path is lush with beautiful greenery. As you can see in the picture. It is a lot of fun to spend time here in the evening...we spent 20 minutes here which gives a immense peace to me.
In above pictures you can see one garden area where there are many benches all around. You can sit comfortably here, You can enjoy nature along with the peaceful environment of the temple.
In the above picture you can see the second garden area which is for kids, where they can enjoy the rides and swings.
This is truly a big and beautiful temple, One gets peace by seeing goddess and can enjoy the nature with their loved ones. A perfect place to take some blessings and enjoy a beautiful evening with loved ones.
My experience was also very good, and I would like to go there again. Such a beautiful place, these lines prove it… if you haven't seen Kutch then you haven't seen anything.
