Okan is having fun with her sister～
Next Monday is a national holiday in Japan, and many people are going on long vacations starting this weekend. My Okan (my mom) is also taking a long vacation and is traveling to Kiso with her sister (my aunt).
My mom and her sister (my aunt) are very close and invited my mom to go on a trip with her. In the Kiso area of Nagano Prefecture, there are many white birch trees and the temperature is a little lower due to the high altitude, making the surrounding scenery look a little like Sweden.
While it has been difficult for my mother to travel far away from home alone since my father passed away, I can only be grateful to my aunt who encourages my mom to join the trip with them. I also hope to build a good relationship with my siblings so that we can travel together when I get older.
As the Corona disaster comes to an end, I hope to be able to invite my husband on a trip to Europe next year. First of all, I would like to go to Germany.
木曽旅行いいなぁ～～
日本では来週の月曜日は祝日で、今週末から長期休暇に出ている人が多いようです。 わたしのオカンも長期休暇をとっているようで、オカンの姉（わたしの叔母）と一緒に木曽旅行に行っているようです。
わたしのオカンと叔母はとても仲が良く、わたしの母を誘ってくれて一緒に旅行に行くことになったようです。 長野県の木曽地域は白樺の木々がたくさん生えていて、気温も標高が高いせいか少し低く周りの風景が少しスウェーデンに似ている気がします。
父が他界してからはなかなか遠出の旅行が母一人ではできない中、このように声をかけてくれる叔母には感謝しかありません。 そして、わたしもそのような年をとった時に一緒にどっかに旅行に行くような仲の良いきょうだい関係を築けたらと思います。
コロナ禍の収束を向かえ、わたしもオカンを欧州旅行に来年は誘えたらなぁ～と思います。 まずは、ドイツ旅行に行きたいなぁー。
