Zaragoza river Ebro in June

Another day exploring the pretty Spanish town Zaragoza. As a nature lover, the Ebro riverside is a great place to adventure. The sun is hot, but the trees provide some shadow.

The west side starts with a bikeway, with neat forest paths to the waterside. People seem to use them as toilets, which is pretty unpleasant. Luckily the plant aromas are strong, so just need to avoid stepping in turds.

Some fallen trees among bushes can be found, it is pretty dry and hot, so they are mostly places for various birds to stand on. The sounds of nature are great throughout the journey.

Ducks seem to enjoy themselves, not too many people going around bothering them. The further from center, the less people wearing masks on their noses. Makes sense, since the heat makes breathing more challenging even without a muzzle.

That is one thing why humans are less interesting as time goes by. Just following orders, considering the Spanish people used Inquisition torture devices until 70's, masking up was pretty predictable.

Bridges varies a lot, near the aquatic park there is an interesting walkway over the river. Not very see-through due the dirtiness of the glass, but it also blocks the sun a bit. Not very popular it seems, perhaps people like driving cars more than walking.

One great thing about humans is the art, there are great graffiti's throughout the town. Also heard some live music, which is extremely rare due the New Normal. Culture is being destroyed bit by bit, just being curious if the fiesta culture is gone for good.

Was hoping to see some swans swimming, but they must have migrated up north. People seemed to enjoy the artificial beach, also there were no distancing or masking, which warmed the heart a bit. Being born in Finland, the unsocial behavior is a nightmare to see spreading across the planet.

On the bright side, people seem friendly and the weather is warm, plus there is still beautiful nature left. Many more ugly cubes being built everywhere, but perhaps some historical buildings are preserved still.
