Good day, dear Hivers! I am @mholldy08, and I am here today to share my quick stroll experience at Daanbantayan Park! 🥰
These are my churchmates, we were all gathered in Daanbantayan for an event. Before the event, we went for a quick stroll to take pictures and look at the playground and other views at the park.
We were given an hour to have a walk around and go outside to take pictures, eat and other stuff before the start of the event. My churchmates and I went for a stroll at the park, took photos, and we also ate at the food stalls outside.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE PLACES WITHIN THE PARK
✨Daanbantayan Signage✨
The word "Daanbantayan" means "Old Guard Post" in English. "Daan" means "Old" while "Bantayan" means "Guard Post". According to the town's history, the town served as a guarding place for pirates and moro invaders back in the days, that's why the town is named Daanbantayan . Shine Daanbantayan signifies that their town shines as bright as their history, making the town a unique and high-class spot for tourists and even for the people that live there.
✨Daanbantayan's Park✨
The park is a great place to relax, walk around and chill. There are many seats that you can choose from. You can buy foods and bring it there, so you can sit, eat and chitchat with your friends or loved ones. We were not able to see the park at night because the event finished late at night and we had to go home right after. I think the park is shines brighter at night as there are many LED lights all around the park.
✨Playground for the Children✨
This place amazed me a lot when I first saw this. This place is only available for children that are ten years old and below. We were allowed to come in to take pictures but we were not able to play, although we really wanted to play as if we were kids 😆. I could tell that the municipality really invested a lot for this and I respect them for that (salute).

This was after the said event. We finished doing our part for the event and we enjoyed every bit of it. We took many pictures again to keep as memories that we can look back in the future.
