If we are on vacation to the City of Tapak Tuan Aceh, then the first thing you must do is visit Tuan Tapa Beach. Even though in Tapak Tuan City, it is located on the edge of the sea and cliffs, which have a million charms of their own and the winding roads make our adrenaline rush very fast. This city is really really cool and for those of you who really like traveling by motorbike, Medan at Tread Tuan has good roads for you to beat.
Back to Tapak Tuan TaPa beach again. It is called Tapak Tuan Tapa beach because on this beach there is a giant footprint which is known as Tapa Tuan Tapa which means lord Sage. From here the name of the town of Tapak Tuan emerged and was known. If we take a closer look at this beach, there are indeed quite large and very natural footprints made of stone. And a history that is thick enough to make us like it or not, like it or not, being forced to believe in the history of this footprint. The view of the beach around the giant footprints is also very beautiful.
Big waves hitting the cliffs with abundant foam make this beach look like snow at a glance. Not only that, on this beach the sea water hitting the cliff walls is also very beautiful in color. Not too blue but quite very exciting to enjoy, the color of the sea water is the same as the clothes I wore when I was there. It really seems like I'm matched in this place. Not only that, near the feet of this giant, we also feel like we are on a stretch of steep rocks but not too sharp and hurt the skin. It's an odd mix actually and I find it hard to explain the circumstances.
To be able to enjoy and touch the soles of this master's feet, we have to go downstairs with access that is a little scary. This is because the place to take us down when I was there was damaged and where I stood experienced sea water abrasion so to go down you had to go through the ruins of existing buildings and go down to see directly the original Telapak. The giant feet. And from here you can judge whether the soles of the feet are man-made to attract the attention of tourists or it happened because of a legend that has been believed for generations by the surrounding community. You can judge for yourself if you visit this beach.
To be able to visit this beach there is no special hour to enjoy the beauty of the beach, but if you want to see the Tapak Tuan directly, you can only come from 08.00 WIB to 18.00 WIB. Because at that hour, the connecting gate to be able to enjoy the feet of this giant foot is opened. And to pass through this gate visitors have to pay an entrance fee of Rp. 5000 per person. From the start of the gate we have to walk on the edge of the cliff very carefully because the road we are taking is very slippery.
From where we walk, the natural scenery is very beautiful, the big waves are stunning, the gentle sea breeze welcomes us to seduce us to enjoy their perfect beauty. However, because the waves here are very high so I don't dare to play in the water here, so my husband and I are only able to enjoy the scenery.
The facilities on this beach, are standard facilities, namely toilets, canteens and there is a giant footprint monument there, from this monument we can know the legend that is believed by the surrounding community. And I will tell the contents of the history of Tread Tuan through the monument.
"Once upon a time there lived a powerful ascetic named Seikh Tuan Tapa who was very obedient to his God. Some people believe that Tuan Tapa's body has a very large giant body size. He is an ordinary human with normal size but has the ability to turn himself into a giant. One day there was a giant dragon from china who found a baby girl drifting in the middle of the sea and they took care of her until she grew up. And the baby's parents are the Kings of the Asralanoka kingdom. Knowing that his daughter is still alive and in the hands of a giant dragon, they ask for his daughter back but the dragon refuses. They finally took the princess away and provoked the dragon's wrath. They chased each other in the middle of the sea until they arrived at Tuan Tapa's Hermitage. Disturbed, Tuan Tapa got up from meditation and jumped from the mountain to the beach cliff. The traces that exist today are believed to be the footprints of Mr. Tapa"
That was the story about the Tapa Tuan Tapa beach, I hope you can visit this place. Thank you for your support. Greetings from us Tomi and Maya from Binjai City, Indonesia.
