Hay..hay.. you who are good at swimming and diving, don't laugh at us, okay? Because we're going to swim rock style today. 😂😂 how not. My husband and I can't swim at all but want to see the habitat in the sea directly, today I will tell you about my activities diving or floating, huh? The important thing is that I want to see the fish habitat on Rubiah Island. It's up to you what you want to say. What is clear is that this is the first and very memorable experience for us and until now it is an unforgettable activity even though we have passed the time for this activity many months ago.
Rubiah Island is one of the islands that is highly recommended for activities to see marine habitats in the Sabang Islands. The sea on Rubiah Island is highly guarded from pollution from plastic waste and industrial waste. There are no factory activities or industries that produce hazardous chemicals for the survival of the marine habitat on Rubiah Island. Because all the residents and the local government have never issued a permit for the establishment of this island factory, the color of the sea water that is produced is very clean and beautiful, as well as the air that is there there is no pollution contamination there. And to get to Rubiah Island, we have to cross by boat from Iboih.
To get to Rubiah Island, we have to rent a boat at a price of Rp. 100,000 per boat, if you go there alone or together, to save costs you can find impromptu friends there. And usually many other visitors also want to share to save on crossing costs. This boat will take us from Iboih to Rubiah Island with a crossing span of about 30 minutes. The boat that we rent includes the return price and the price for leaving. When you go home, you are required to call the owner of the boat that you have rented. Before leaving, make sure you ask for the cellphone number of the boat owner that you rent, and later they will also give you a crossing ticket as a valid ticket.
after arriving at Rubiah Island. If we're just going to bathe on the beach, that's okay, there's no prohibition, here there are also small fish that appear even though there are not many in number. At first my husband and I also did this. However, it turned out to be not fun and we wanted to try snorkeling on this rubiah island. At first we were very hesitant because we are not very good at swimming. However, because we got a guide who was very patient and kind enough to teach us from starting to introduce the tools, how to do it and how to teach basic diving instantly to be able to see the beautiful marine habitats here.
A little frustrated, because for almost 1 hour we still couldn't adjust the breathing that had to be expelled from the mouth, a little panicked because we were still not used to it. And finally after an hour, we managed to reach the sea with a depth of 20 meters, even though we were just floating there..🤣🤣 once again, don't laugh, okay? After arriving at a certain depth we were directed to follow the instructions made by our guide. and from here our eyes were really spoiled by a collection of very cute small fish, unique octopuses, jellyfish that did not attack. It was a great first experience for us. from here we know that when we are not smart to do something, it doesn't mean we really can't do it at all. Although it takes struggle to achieve it.
Little information. To rent simple diving equipment like us, the price is around Rp. 70,000 to 100,000 depending on how we bid the price. If you can't swim like us, don't hesitate. To hire a guide. The guides here are very friendly and welcoming. They set the average price of Rp. 350,000 per group with a maximum group of 10 people. So, if you are traveling alone like us, what you have to do is the same as renting a boat earlier. Find friends. 😊😊
That was our first exciting experience. If you? What was your fun experience? Have a nice day. Healthy and happy always for you. Greetings from us Tomi and Maya from Binjai City, Indonesia. Thank you for your support so far.
