Yesterday I saw many posts about the first winter snowfall that some had, in some places the snowfall was super heavy and in others not so much. Seeing those photos I wanted to bring you a warm feeling with this photos of this little beach town.

Looking in my travel files I found the photos and videos I have of Choroní.

Choroní is a beach town that when visiting it leaves you with a feeling that it was frozen in time, it is located in the Aragua state in Venezuela.

But far from being a bad thing, but that makes it more attractive, you can take a look at the architecture of the past, in addition to the fact that its beaches and places are very well preserved.

It is very common to find many of this type of houses with colonial architecture, they were built many years ago and are still very well preserved.

The economy of this town is based on tourism, they live by selling things to the tourists who come here, that's why we see stores of all kinds of things, beachwear, children's toys, restaurants, liquor stores, etc.

Before beginning the exploration of the town, we first had some delicious Venezuelan empanadas for breakfast.

Venta de todo tipo de artículos playeros

Sale of all kinds of beach items

Ventas de artesanías y recuerdos

Sales of crafts and souvenirs

This is the street of the clubs, here at night is where the nightlife is.

This is a liquor store, here you will find any type of Venezuelan liquor. We bought some polar beers to cool off from the inclement sun of the beach.

And then we went to the fish market where I had the opportunity to take this photo of some gigantic fish.
(compare them with the one in his hand and you will know the magnitude)

We continued our tour and wanted to go to the viewpoint to have a better view of the entire town.

To get there you have to cross a bridge and then enter the foot of a mountain.

On one side of the road we can see boats that have been abandoned, these are no longer used and from here they get the spare parts for the boats that are currently being used.

The locals built these stairs through the mountain. to make it easier to go up to the viewpoint

Upon reaching the top we found this statue of Christ and a goat that when saw us ran away hahaha.

The view from up here is beautiful, you can see the whole town and you can also appreciate the infinity of the sea.

After a morning of exploring we returned to the inn to have lunch, while my family cooked I was taking pictures of the inn where we stayed and I got into the pool for a while...

Choroní is a very pretty town and worth visiting, as it is small, all the locals know each other and are very kind to tourists, they will never treat you badly and they will help you with everything you need, and if they can sell you something in the process better hahaha.

I, like many of you, am also missing the beach, those days of vacation and connection with the sea.

I wanted to share these photos and bring a bit of warmth to your day even for a moment, I hope that, like me, you have also enjoyed this photo tour.
