This festival is held at An Hoi Bridge, Bach Dang Street, Hoi An Ancient Town. The bridge connects the two banks of the old town separated by a poetic nostalgic river.

It also contains many meanings in culture and the daily life of the people here. Lanterns are a symbol of luck and peace for everyone. Beside we usually put paper lantern on the River for praying the peace and happy life.

Besides the lantern festival, this year to welcome Christmas and New Year's Eve, Hoi An has recreated the old daily life of the people here such as fishing scene, Bai Choi ..etc

Walking along the old town, you will see the image of artists sculpting rough bamboo roots into works of art. The children were lit with lanterns, along with shops, souvenir stalls were sold even though the number of customers was not crowded.
