It began to be built for the needs of the Kingdom of Serbia as early as 1907. The project of the building was entrusted to Konstantin A. Jovanovic, who lived and worked in Vienna. The foundation and ceremonial opening belonged to King Peter I on August 27, 1907.

It is located on Nikola Pasic Square in Belgrade. The statues in front of the assembly have the title "horses, crows played, and great heroes with them." They were made of bronze and placed in front of the entrance in 1939.

The Old Palace was built in 1881-1884 and was built during the reign of King Milan I Obenovic. The old palace is a beautiful and cultural building in Belgrade. Now it is the seat of the Assembly of the City of Belgrade. 👇

Today, together with the building of the New Palace, it embodies two dynasties, Karadjordjevic and Obrenovic.
