Visiting the Miraflores Palace Gardens
Caracas is a city that hides many secrets and where we can find places surrounded by a mysterious and silent spirit, for no one is a secret that government buildings are surrounded by great secrecy, high security and great stories, it is for this reason that the Miraflores Palace, as the official seat of the presidency of the Republic is a space that is not open to the public and much less to tourists, thus generating a great curiosity about how its spaces would be and how impressive are its views.

Visitando los Jardines del Palacio de Miraflores
Caracas es una ciudad que esconde muchos secretos y en donde podemos encontrar lugares rodeados por un espíritu misterioso y silente, para nadie es un secreto que los edificios gubernamentales están rodeados de gran hermetismo, mucha seguridad y grandes historias, es por esta razón que el Palacio de Miraflores, como sede oficial de la presidencia de la República es un espacio que no se encuentra abierto al público y mucho menos a turistas, generando así una gran curiosidad sobre cómo serían sus espacios y que tan impresionantes son sus vistas.
This visit that I am going to show you today actually happened a few years ago, when a press release announced the opening of part of the palace gardens for an event related to the memory and legacy of President Hugo Chavez, so this was the ideal time to leave aside any commitment and approach the gates of this enigmatic place to try to enter. Fortunately, everything went as planned, there was no major inconvenience and after passing all the security controls I managed to enter the most coveted place for all Venezuelans.
Esta visita que hoy les vengo a mostrar ocurrió realmente hace unos años, cuando por medio de una nota de prensa se anunciaba la apertura de parte de los jardines del palacio para un evento relacionado con la memoria y legado del presidente Hugo Chávez, por lo cual Este era el momento ideal para dejar al lado cualquier compromiso y acercarse hacia las puertas de este enigmático lugar para poder intentar ingresar. Afortunadamente, todo salió como estaba planeado, no hubo mayor inconveniente y después de pasar todos los controles de seguridad logré ingresar al lugar más codiciado por todos los venezolanos.
Actually the whole event would take place in the vicinity of the heliport, a place that is located on a hill, which is reached by different paths that are surrounded by trees, grass and lots of vegetation, it is a path that gradually goes around the entire space until you reach the top, but already halfway through the tour a totally different image of the capital city.
Realmente todo el evento se desarrollaría en las inmediaciones del helipuerto, un lugar que se encuentra sobre una colina, al cual se llega por diferentes caminerías que se encuentran rodeadas de árboles, grama Y mucha vegetación, se trata de un Sendero que poco a poco va rodeando todo el espacio hasta llegar a la cima, pero ya a mitad del recorrido una imagen totalmente diferente de la ciudad capital.
Once you are in this place you really do not know exactly where to look, what to think and what to feel, as curiosity is triggered to incredible levels, but there is also an extreme vigilance, which constantly observes every movement and every step you take, which increases the adrenaline and fills us with that vigor needed to capture the most unique and incredible images.
Una vez que se está en este lugar realmente no se sabe exactamente a dónde mirar, qué pensar y qué sentir, ya que la curiosidad Se dispara a niveles increíbles, pero también existe una vigilancia extrema, la cual constantemente observa cada movimiento y cada paso que uno da, lo cual aumenta la adrenalina y nos llena de ese vigor necesario para capturar las imágenes más únicas e increíbles.
To be able to admire the People's Balcony, the Golden Gate and so many other spaces that I had only known through some images or television broadcasts was really unique, I am sure that this is an experience that very few have managed to have, since I was in front of a palace all alone, ready to be photographed giving me the best images that will remain forever engraved in my mind and heart.
Encontrarse con el Palacio de frente es una experiencia magnífica, poder admirar el Balcón del Pueblo, la Puerta Dorada y tantos otros espacios que solo había conocido a través de algunas imágenes o en transmisiones televisivas fue realmente único, estoy seguro de que esta es una experiencia que muy pocos han logrado tener, ya que me encontraba frente a un palacio totalmente solo, dispuesto a hacer fotografiado regalándome las mejores imágenes que quedarán grabadas para siempre en mi mente y corazón.
The feeling of looking at the city from the height of the heliport is transcendental, because you can perceive the energy of greatness and power that emanates from this space, because it seems that the whole city is at our feet and actually from the political point of view it is, since it is from these spaces where decisions are made that mark the future of millions of people, especially if we consider that Venezuela has a presidential system, which constitutionally has great political powers that are capable of directing the country almost in its entirety.
La sensación que da mirar a la ciudad desde la altura del helipuerto es trascendental, ya que puedes lograr percibir esa energía de grandeza y poder qué emana desde este espacio, pues pareciera que toda la ciudad está a nuestros pies y en realidad desde el punto de vista político así es, ya que es desde estos espacios en donde se toman las decisiones que marcan el futuro de millones de personas, más Si tenemos en cuenta que Venezuela posee un sistema presidencialista, el cual constitucionalmente tiene grandes poderes políticos que son capaces de dirigir al país casi en su totalidad.
From here you have a totally different view of the Cuartel de la Montaña, the Blocks of 23 de Enero, the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, images that could easily become the most beautiful postcards of the Venezuelan capital, since on these facades are highlighted various architectural styles, different stories are portrayed and show us a distinctive element of each era through which the city has gone through.
Desde acá se tiene una visión totalmente diferente del Cuartel de la Montaña, los Bloques del 23 de Enero, la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro y la capilla de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, imágenes que fácilmente pudieran constituirse en las postales más bellas de la capital venezolana, ya que sobre esas fachadas se resaltan diversos estilos arquitectónicos, se retratan diferentes historias y nos muestran un elemento distintivo de cada época por la cual ha atravesado la ciudad.
From here you can see not only large buildings and modern structures, but also have a perfect view of the western neighborhoods of the city, which serves as a permanent reminder of the social struggles and needs of a people whose hopes are that the policies advance towards a uniform and equitable development, where everyone has opportunities and where they work for a better future.
Desde no solo se ven grandes edificios y estructuras modernas, desde acá también tendremos una visión perfecta de los barrios del oeste de la ciudad, lo cual sirve como un recordatorio permanente de las luchas sociales y las necesidades de un pueblo cuyas esperanzas es que las políticas avancen en pro de un desarrollo uniforme y equitativo, en donde todos tengan oportunidades en donde se trabaje por un mejor futuro.
Visiting the Miraflores Palace was one of the most extraordinary experiences I have been able to live, without a doubt it was an exceptional tour, which will always remain engraved in my mind and which fills me with pride, as it is a beautiful complex, full of history and plagued by an incredibly attractive environment, which reflects the true beauty and the great contrasts of the city of Caracas.
Visitar el Palacio de Miraflores fue una de las experiencias más extraordinarias que he podido vivir, sin duda alguna se trató de un paseo excepcional, el cual siempre quedará grabado en mi mente y el cual me llena de orgullo, ya que es un conjunto hermoso, lleno de historia y plagado de un entorno increíblemente atractivo, el cual refleja la verdadera belleza y los grandes contrastes de la ciudad de Caracas.

Nota: Como ya les indiqué al inicio de mi publicación, este es un paseo que se llevó a cabo hace bastante tiempo, las imágenes que aquí le muestro fueron publicadas en ese momento en un blog nada relacionado con este ecosistema, allí muchas personas tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer este recorrido, pero también muchos otros tomaron las imágenes de manera inapropiada, generando así una controversia de larga data, de todas maneras acá les dejo el link de esa publicación original, para que tengan en cuenta la fecha y si por casualidad se cruzan con alguna imagen en internet relacionado con este tema, sepan que la fuente primaria fue mi cámara, fue mi blog y si surgiera alguna duda, aún hoy en día conservo los archivos originales.
Nota: Hhabía retrasado esta publicación durante mucho tiempo, pero creo que en honor a la verdad es necesario que hoy en día salga a la luz, para que todos ustedes conozcan uno de los lugares más increíbles de Caracas y al mismo tiempo para hacer valer ante todo la verdad y el esfuerzo con el que se realizó todo este trabajo.
