The River Ganges is the soul of India. When planning to make a tour, we decided to see this magnificent river in Asia. The Ganges is more than just a river. It is considered a sacred entity, having said that, this colossal water body makes its way through the glaciers of the Himalayas and is joined by many tributaries before reaching the Bay of Bengal.

The Ganges is a lifeline for millions and it is the third largest river on earth. The banks of the river is thronged with the devotees and the religious rituals, adventurous cruisers and fishing boats coexist which make it a site of life with its vibrant colors.

Varanasi
Varanasi is famous for its ghats and this ancient city gives a sense of tranquility when you go for a sunrise boat tour. The morning mist from the holy water and the peaceful view of the riverbanks give you the peace from the hubbub of daily rush of life.

Haridwar

In Haridwar, the Ganges is closer to its source with the sadhu and shrines in this North Indian city. One can enjoy an excursion trip. The river's quick moving current encourages the adventurous for a white-water rafting excursion.

Ganga Aarti
It is a beacon of devotion and bliss which you experience in the Ganga Aarti. At dusk, the locals worship the river Goddess and it is a religious spectacle which is performed to appease the Ganges. The ritual is incredibly performed at the river bank in Varanasi and Haridwar. Travellers visit the city to behold the Ganga aarti.
