A little touch up for the month of August by the seas.

Few days ago, my husband and I decided to spend a week at Manila so we can spend more days together before he gets back to work overseas. This is our second time to try traveling out of town, the first one was at Santa Fe,Bantayan year 2023. We haven't really tried staying out for a long week before so this is kind of something new for us.

We are more into budget travel so every time we step out of the house we make sure to plan it ahead. And this time, Manila is the place being chosen.

So let's go! Be with me as I share to you my journey as we touch down the Capital City of the Philippines — Manila.

In traveling, the first thing to do is to look for the suitable transportation. And Yes! as we level up in this modern generation I am glad that we have now a direct vessel transportation that offers a wide range of routes especially cebu to manila vice-versa.

Introducing 2GO Travel — this is the leading passenger ships in the country. The ship has a lot of accommodations that you can choose like Super-value class, Mega-value class, Tourist class, Business class, and Stateroom.

If you are looking for the cheapest ticket, you can have the economy class which are the Super Value, Mega Value, and Tourist class. But if you want to travel comfortably and experience a premium dining and beverages then you can have the Business Class and Stateroom. They also have rooms good for two person, four person and a room good for a family. All in all, it replicates a hotel setting.

I am so much happy that I got the chance to try travelling by the sea. And we able to experience their business class room and services.The room is spacious enough for the two of us. Aside from that, it was an easy and smooth sailing for us. The crew were very accommodating as they assists with our needs and requests during onboard. And another surprising thing, we haven't brought some food or snacks but thankfully, they have stores in the lobby so you can choose any snacks you want or even for you skin care.

Moreover, as a food lover, I am overwhelmed by the meal courses that they offer to us and of course it is a free meal as part of our inclusions. They have different cafe for the business class passengers separate from economy class. During meal time, it feels like you are dining in a fine restaurant because that's how they treat their guests. And also, for the coffee lovers you won't be left behind because they have "2Go Cafe" you can enjoy their brewed coffee and pastry.

What food are they serving?

• Beef Tapa with veggies
• Chicken Tonkatsu
• Mushroom Soup
• Beef Steak
• Chicken Curry

and of course, every meal has a dessert — Fruit Salad. It would never be into perfection without a dessert because it always comes along with your favorite food.

Is it worth it?

Definitely! without a doubt. It is worth the penny because you got a cheaper fare in a luxurious travel experience. And also the fare is inclusive of 50kg baggage allowance. So if you are travelling with no rush appointments then 2Go is a better option to save up as it is way more cheaper compared to airlines. Aside from what I mentioned above, there is a lot that you can do while spending 20hours inside the ship. They have KTV rooms if you would like to do karaoke, a salon if you want to have a new haircut and nails, and also they have a musician/band after dinner. They even have a viewing deck for you to enjoy the view of the ocean and breathe the fresh air. So yeah! there's no boring moments inside the ship because there's a lot of activities that you can do.

Certainly, if I got the chance to travel again back to manila then I would still choose 2Go as my transportation. I left my heart on this ship merely because I am with my husband and we really enjoy each other's company.

Little did I know that travelling has a big part in our relationship eversince because we tend to understand each other more and it feels like it reconnects our soul. It enhances our interests of exploration and learning new things and ideas. And to sum up everything, it's the memories we shared while travelling that counts.
