Exhibition Restart 5.0

One week ago I showed you some cool art, that I saw when I visited the Bernády House in Targu Mures. Today I'd like to show you some more, different artworks and the lesson you can learn from looking at them. If you have missed my post, you can check it out here.

Molnár Dénes1.jpg

This was the first exhibition I visited, where brother and sister were the artists. You rarely see family members exhibiting together. Actually there are not many families where more family members are artists. The two artists are Dénes Molnár and Krisztina Molnár.

This work is called Everyday Again. It is a strange one as I would illustrate my everyday differently but I'm not the artist. I'm sorry for the reflection, I tried my best, but this is what I could do.

Here the reflection was even worse, so I could not take a photo standing in front of the artwork, but at least this way the details are visible, which would be my main focus here. This artwork is called Fireplace and the beauty of it is that it has been used one color to do this artwork and it's tint.

It's always a fun game to look at the artworks and trying to guess what the title is. Most of the time I would go wrong, which is not surprising as you can never guess what artists think. This one for example it is called Summer, which I would have never guessed. Maybe the hair (if it's hair what we see there) looks like sun rays, but who knows.

Now that I'm writing this post I was thinking how different the process is here is. The artist has a concept in his head and a title, first. Then comes the artwork. I am seeing the artwork first and try to figure out what it means then I look at the title.

This one is called Meditation and it is lithography.

And this is Layers 2. (I don't understand either of them 😳)

Sunflowers.

This artwork also has sunflowers, it's more complex than the previous one and it is called The Spiral Of Time.

This one is called Girl and honestly ... good to know as the silhouette does not suggest much.

Portrait.

Even though it's not the most spectacular artwork, maybe this is one that I appreciate the most, because of the details. Imagine how much precision you need to create something like that as you only have one color. It is called Vegetation Rhythm.

Stairs. This is done with the same technique and I love this too. It must be extremely difficult to create such an artwork.

This is called Phantasmagoria and I like it.

This was also an interesting one from a couple of reasons. I is called Treasure Chest, but you can only see the upper part where the lock is. It's interesting how the artist chose to illustrate wood and I find it right, even fascinating.

Finally a different style.

Soooo, which one is your favorite?
