Les presento Guatire, la ciudad que me acogió desde hace 15 años🌿 🌿
Hola mis apreciados amigos Hiver-expositores, espero que este mes de noviembre les traiga cosas buenas y abra el camino para pasar una navidades alegres y en unión familiar como debe ser. El tiempo se pasa volando y sin darnos cuenta la cuarentena ya pasa de los 7 meses, por eso los quiero invitar a disfrutar de cada día, cada hora y cada minuto.; respiren sientan por un momento cada inhalación y exhalen suavemente y mientras lo hacen piensen en lo bella que es la vida y lo bendecidos que debemos ser por haber tenido el privilegio de pasar por este mundo hermoso.
Confieso que cada día me siento más orgullosa de haber llegado a esta maravillosa plataforma y definitivamente estoy enamorada de lo que hago. Tomar fotos no solo es mi pasatiempo favorito, sino también forma parte de mi trabajo, a ello me dedico prácticamente desde hace unos meses por completo y quiero seguir perfeccionándome cada día en la técnica. Sueño con visitar muchos sitios hermosos y así poder aprovechar para tomar fotos que me permitan desarrollarme más. Tengo la fortuna de haber conocido en esta plataforma gente que realiza unos trabajos fotográficos magníficos, como es el caso de mi amigo @Miguelmederico y mi amiga @Francyrios75.
Hoy quiero presentarles a la ciudad de Guatire, una población ubicada muy cerca de la capital del país "Caracas", a tan solo 15 minutos puedes estar rápidamente en la ciudad metropolitana.
Guatire es una ciudad del estado de Miranda, Venezuela, capital del Municipio Zamora, se ha considerado como ciudad dormitorio (al igual que Guarenas, su ciudad gemela) ya que en los últimos años ha conocido un acelerado desarrollo y crecimiento debido a la expansión y sobrepoblación de la ciudad de Caracas
Guatire de ayer
Guatire nace por allá por el año 1680 cuando se inicia la construcción de la parroquia eclesiástica llamada "Santa Cruz de Acarigua" , esta parroquia tenía como función principal era atender religiosamente a los esclavizados de las haciendas; con el venir de los años se fueron construyendo caseríos alrededor de la misma y así se fue fundando la ciudad. Guatire es el único pueblo en Venezuela que no cuenta con una Plaza Bolívar, esta plaza recibe el nombre de Plaza 24 de Julio y cerca de ella se encuentra la parroquia eclesiástica, la alcaldía y diferentes entes del estado y gobierno municipal.
Muy cerca de esta plaza un se conservas las casas viejas y sus calles donde habitan los descendientes de la primeras familias. De ellos han brotado insignes personajes como lo fue Vicente Emilio Sojo quien funda la Orquesta Sinfónica de Venezuela y se le atribuye la creación de la escuela moderna de música en Venezuela. Rómulo Ernesto Betancourt Bello, es reconocido como uno de los más importantes políticos venezolanos del siglo XX, fue Presidente Constitucional de la República, para el período 1959-1964.
Evolución de Guatire
Guatire ha evolucionado mucho en estos años, antes de que sucediera lo que en Venezuela está ocurriendo y que todo el mundo conoce y sabe, esta ciudad vivo un cambio profundo donde fueron construidas cientos de urbanizaciones que dieron albergue a cientos de familias provenientes de la ciudad capital. Eran conjuntos residenciales de todo tipo, apartamentos, casas, quintas, mansiones. había mucho terreno disponible para crear de todo un poco, para todos los estilos. Para el año 2004 tuve la oportunidad de adquirir una vivienda propia en el conjunto residencial "Las Flores" un lugar muy tranquilo y muy cómodo para vivir.
Por ser un valle contamos con la dicha y la fortuna de que se extienda para nosotros el Parque nacional El Ávila. Con sus hermosas montañas nos brinda abrigo y protección. De esa rica montaña brotan caudales con el agua más fresca que puedan conocer y es de donde nos sustentamos para nuestro beneficio.
Turismo de aventura
Guatire no tiene un parque donde la gente pueda distraerse los fines de semana, desde hace mucho tiempo las empresas constructoras solo se dedicaron a crear Centros comerciales inmensos, supermercados y eso era lo único que la gente visitaba los fines de semana. Pero este año a raíz de la pandemia la gente ha buscado más la montaña y se está generando un cambio de pensamiento ecológico y conservacionista, junto con la familia nos vamos al Ávila y hacemos más deporte y disfrutamos del esparcimiento al aire libre. Espero que continúe así luego que comience la vida normal sin restricciones por la cuarentena.
Antes de despedirme quiero comentarles que Guatire también cuenta con una expresión cultural religiosa llamada la "Parranda de San Pedro" La festividad fue proclamada Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad por la UNESCO el 5 de diciembre de 2013.
Estoy muy agradecida con esta hermosa ciudad donde me he sentido muy bien viviendo durante estos 15 años y espero seguir viviendo por unos cuantos más. Aquí mis hijos se han podido desarrollar en muchos aspectos, sobre todo mi hijo Fabián quien ha demostrado tener una afición por la música y ha encontrado mucho apoyo por parte de las instituciones y gente del medio artístico. Espero les haya gustado mi recuento de esta linda ciudad y si algún día vienen por acá, recuerden que esta servidora les tendrá una taza de café lista para compartir y contar historias.

I confess that every day I feel more proud of having reached this wonderful platform and I am definitely in love with what I do. Taking pictures is not only my favorite hobby, but it is also part of my job. I have been working on it almost entirely for the last few months and I want to continue improving my technique every day. I dream of visiting many beautiful places so that I can take pictures that will allow me to develop further. I'm lucky to have met on this platform people who do great photographic work, as is the case of my friend @Miguelmederico and my friend @Francyrios75.
Today I want to introduce you to the city of Guatire, a town located very close to the capital of the country "Caracas", just 15 minutes away you can quickly be in the metropolitan city.
Guatire is a city in the state of Miranda, Venezuela, capital of the Municipality Zamora, has been considered as a dormitory city (like Guarenas, its twin city) since in the last years it has known an accelerated development and growth due to the expansion and overpopulation of the city of Caracas

Guatire was born around 1680 when the construction of the ecclesiastical parish called "Santa Cruz de Acarigua" began, this parish had as its main function to religiously attend to the slaves of the haciendas; with the coming of the years, villages were built around it and thus the city was founded. Guatire is the only town in Venezuela that doesn't have a Plaza Bolívar, this square is called Plaza 24 de Julio and near it you can find the church parish, the mayor's office and different state and municipal government entities.
Very close to this square you can find the old houses and streets where the descendants of the first families live. From them have emerged distinguished characters such as Vicente Emilio Sojo who founded the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra and is credited with creating the modern school of music in Venezuela. Romulo Ernesto Betancourt Bello, is recognized as one of the most important Venezuelan politicians of the 20th century, he was Constitutional President of the Republic, for the period 1959-1964.
Evolution of Guatire
Guatire has evolved a lot in these years, before what is happening in Venezuela and that everybody knows and knows, this city lived a deep change where hundreds of urbanizations were built that gave shelter to hundreds of families coming from the capital city. They were residential complexes of all kinds, apartments, houses, country estates, mansions. There was a lot of land available to create a little bit of everything, for all styles. By the year 2004 I had the opportunity to acquire my own home in the residential complex "Las Flores" a very quiet and very comfortable place to live.
Because it is a valley we have the joy and fortune that El Ávila National Park is extended for us. With its beautiful mountains it offers us shelter and protection. From that rich mountain flows the freshest water you can know and is where we sustain ourselves for our benefit.
Adventure tourism
Guatire doesn't have a park where people can distract themselves on weekends, for a long time construction companies only dedicated themselves to create huge shopping centers, supermarkets and that was the only thing people visited on weekends. But this year, due to the pandemic, people have looked for the mountain more and a change in ecological and conservationist thinking is being generated. Together with the family, we are going to Avila and we are doing more sports and enjoying outdoor recreation. I hope it will continue like this after normal life begins without restrictions due to the quarantine.
Before saying goodbye I want to comment that Guatire also has a religious cultural expression called the "Parranda de San Pedro" The festival was proclaimed Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO on December 5, 2013.
I am very grateful to this beautiful city where I have felt very good living during these 15 years and I hope to continue living for a few more. Here my children have been able to develop in many aspects, especially my son Fabián who has demonstrated a love for music and has found much support from institutions and people in the artistic field.
