A blustery cold front drifted through the South Australia communities of Robe and Naracoorte today. That didn't dissuade us from driving the ute along the beach and catching a beautiful rainbow in the distant. Along the way, this fine fellow. It's one of the few halloween decorations we'd seen since arriving.

And then there was dinner. These red rock lobster are called crayfish down under. Very tasty items, both fresh and in omelettes the following morning.

These communities are in an agricultural region that has been hit really hard my falling lamb prices. It's almost better for them to give the animals away than slaughter them. So sad.
