Happy day to fellow travelers around the world; it is a pleasure to greet you and share my visit to the viewpoint in the city's coastal area—specifically, the pier located behind the Marina Plaza shopping center. My son and I took a walk through the area, following the stone walkway and the dirt path that led us straight to the beach. After descending a small rise of about two meters, we encountered a stone path that required careful footing, as it consisted of loose, small rocks; the view in this area is truly beautiful.
The first photo is one of my favorites, as it shows part of the mound of earth and the rocky path that skirts it, leading toward the beach—extending about a meter from the shoreline into the sea. At the water's edge, the sand is reddish and scattered with small rocks; one can also see the posts situated next to the pier. Next, we have a view of the dirt path located above the Hernán Marín amphitheater, which leads to the stone walkway; beyond the stone section, a dirt path with several mounds begins, with the beach visible in the background. This photo reveals the shape of the breakwater and offers a glimpse of the entrance to the Marina Plaza pier, where several boats are moored. We then see a closer view of the sandy path, a concrete strip housing the shopping center's pier, and—adjacent to it—the breakwater bordering part of the beach. Formed by large rocks arranged along a wide path that accommodates multiple people walking side-by-side, it is a popular spot at sunset for taking in the incredible scenery; at night, the lights come on, making the landscape look spectacular.
Feliz día amigos viajeros en todo el mundo, es un placer saludarles y compartir mi visita al mirador en la zona costera de la ciuad, específicamente el muelle ubicado detrás del centro comercial Marina plaza, en compañía de mi hijo hicimos una caminata por esta área, pasando la caminería de piedra y el sendero de tierra que nos llevó directamente hasta la playa, luego de bajar un montículo de aproximadamente 2 metros, hay un camino de piedra en el cual hay que moverse con cuidado ya que solo cuenta con pequeñas rocas, la vista en esta zona es muy bonita.
La primera foto es una de mis favoritas, pues se aprecia parte del montículo de tierra y el sendero de rocas que lo bordea y conduce hasta la playa, aproximadamente un metro desde la orilla hacia el mar, en la orilla la arena es de color rojizo, se observan también pequeñas rocas dispersas, los postes ubicados al lado del muelle, luego tenemos una vista del sendero de tierra, que se ubica en la parte superior del anfiteatro Hernán Marín y conduce hasta la caminería de piedras, terminada la caminería piedras inicia un camino de tierra con varios montículos y detrás de este se puede observar la playa, en esta fotografía se aprecia la forma del rompeolas y una pequeña vista de la entrada al muelle de Marina plaza, donde descansan varios botes; a continuación vemos más de cerca el camino de arena, una franja de concreto donde se ubica el muelle del centro comercial y al lado de este él rompeolas que bordea parte de la playa, el cual está formado por varias rocas grandes, colocadas en un sendero amplio por el cual pueden pasar varias personas simultáneamente, es uno de los lugares más visitados en el atardecer para observar los increíbles paisajes, en las horas nocturnas los bombillos se encienden y el paisaje se ve espectacular.
Moving towards the rock path, you can see the mound in detail and a partial view of the avenue and the buildings located on it. From a distance they look small, but as you get closer you realize that they are quite large, and their vibrant colors make them eye-catching. As we continued, as on most of our trips to the beach, our crab friends appeared. To avoid disturbing them and interrupting their walk, we moved away and took another route. We have often encountered these friendly crustaceans on walks along the beach.
Avanzando hacia el sendero de roca, es se observa en detalle el montículo y una vista parcial de la avenida y los edificios ubicados en ella, por la distancia se ven pequeños pero al acercarte te das cuenta que son de gran tamaño, además sus vibrantes colores los hacen llamativos, mientras avanzábamos como en la mayoría de los viajes que hacemos a la playa, aparecieron los amigos cangrejos, para no molestarlos y evitar interrumpir su caminata nos alejamos y tomamos otra ruta, en muchas ocasiones hemos coincidido con los crustáceos amigos, en las caminatas por la orilla de la playa.
To finish our walk along the viewpoint, we moved towards the rocks on the beach. The waves crashed against them, creating a drizzle effect. We then took several photos of the mound from the rock, and it looks very beautiful. Around it, there is a rock path, perhaps to protect it from the water. I really liked the view of the beach from this point.
Para terminar nuestra caminata por el mirador avanzamos hacia las rocas en la orilla de la playa, las olas chocaban con estas y hacían un efecto de llovizna, luego tomamos varias fotos del montículo desde la roca y se ve muy bonito, alrededor de él hay un sendero de roca tal vez para protegerlo de la acción del agua, la vista de la playa desde este punto me gustó mucho.
