A Walk in the Streets of Ankara - Türkiye

🐝🐝Hello Dear @Pinmapple Page Friends;

Today, I would like to share with you a story about the walk I took on the streets of Ankara to distract myself during a one-day or two-day business trip in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. I would like to briefly talk about my feelings and some places on my walking route, about a walk I took on a beautiful February day to dive into my own thoughts.

February; It is a winter month for Türkiye and the weather is generally cold. Since Ankara is located in the middle of the country, it does not have the mildness of the maritime climate, compared to a country with sea coasts on three sides. Instead, it has an atmosphere closer to the steppe climate. This weather is usually harsh and cold in winter.

Ankara; Before it was declared the capital nearly a century ago, it was a small town in its own right. However; Immediately after it was declared the capital, it underwent a major restructuring and began to grow very rapidly. Again; Despite this rapid growth, it kept its streets wide and living spaces wide for traffic and walking, without becoming overly dense like Istanbul.

This city, which I have visited several times before, seems different to me when I come to a mature age. This city, where I stayed for a year when I was a child, did not leave me with pleasant memories due to family issues at that time, on the contrary, it made me hate this place. Actually, I can say that I still love this city. Because; At that time, while my grandparents were living in the most beautiful and elite district of Ankara, they sent us to a district where there were slums and negative events were constantly happening.

However, as I walk around here on a beautiful February day, with the clean and fresh air hitting my face, I remember that all the things we have experienced in the past are experiences, and I remember that I need to learn from these experiences.

Yes; I tried to prepare a short post for you from my short trip. I would like to thank the #Hive and #Ecency platforms, and the #Pinmapple page that gives us the opportunity to share about the places we visit.
