Hey guys! Long time no see! It's been a few weeks of me going missing but I think my life has finally been getting a lot less hectic? at least I hope so?
Mining season has been starting to ease up on me and I haven't been forced to do that much overtime and that much reporting lately so I'm taking that as a good sign on my end XD
This is basically just updating you guys on my month's activity since my last post was basically over a month ago when I thought I could manage everything else and work XD But yes! I went on a trip at the start of the month! I went to Romblon and it was soooooo pretty there. But getting there... well.... I would say it felt like torture for me and I am no traumatized by sea travel.
You see, we boarded this cargo ship which we call RoRo here. That's a big ship that lets cars and trucks board and maybe I just like looking at it but I definitely do not enjoy boarding one and I hope I'll never have to again ;;-;;
So this is the huge ass boat we boarded and I was on that boat that looked like a refuge center for almost 17 hours straight ;;-;; basically I ended up drinking meds for motion sickness and I took a sleeping pill just to make it through the entire trip.
First order of business when we got to the island was check in at the accommodation and it was nice because it was pretty close to the bay and the little port that had sailboats heading to the other island UwU
This was my fit check because goodness it was hot on that island ;;-;;
So after checking in and getting beds and clothing sorted we set off to Cresta de Gallo which is just this beautiful island with one of the prettiest sand bars I have ever seen!
Thank goodness one of the people I went with had a drone and they shared a few pretty shots with me of the island from the top ;;w;; it was just soooooo pretty! It was a pretty long boat ride tho, probably some 40 minutes or so? I would have loved a swim but I swear I'm really not a beach person and the sun was soooooo hot so I couldn't really enjoy my trip here much. Most I did was probably just chill in the small hut we rented then I tried walking across the sand bar, it was fun!
So after that island trip, the next destination was a man made waterfalls and that meant spring water! I love spring water so much OwO I was actually revived and finally had the mood for this trip after a soak here. I forgot what the river was called but I swear the water was so clear and pretty!
Honestly, if they left me there, I would have been happy and would even pay extra for them just to do so, unfortunateluy, the itinerary had to be followed so by 5pm, we had to pack up and head back to the accommodation.
Oh! but before going back, we managed to convince them to do a little side trip to the Boulevard for some snacks XD
and to watch the sunset
This was just a little downtime to enjoy the island tho. The sunset was beautiful and I'm happy I got to enjoy this moment a little
Bonus shot was all the dogs that have accepted me in the transient we stayed at and my new Pokémon go friend ^^ He's a cool guy and him and his little family kinda adopted me throughout this entire trip so I became close with them ^^
