The HATU TEMPLE of NARKANDA (SHIMLA ) 🛕 A temple constructed by RAVAN's Wife

The HATU temple is situated [//]:# (!pinmapple 31.257883 lat 77.460193 long d3scr)
at the top of the HATU PEAK in NARKANDA , the 2nd highest peak in the SHIMLA District .

HATU TEMPLE is dedicated to the goddess BHIMAKALI.
Despite the present structure being new , the temple is ancient with each wall and pillar in the temple themed on INDIAN mythology.

Height of HATU PEAK is 3400 mtr. i.e 11152 feet from sea level. The signs of both HINDUISM and BUDDHISM carved around the structure which is a marked example of the PAGODA style architecture.

It is believed that , the temple was constructed by MANDODARI , the wife of RAVAN who often came here to worship the goddess , despite the distance from LANKA .

I with my friend visited this temple last year and it was a wonderful experience. Saints in ancient time used to come here and meditate , perform "Tapasya" .

I had a wonderful experience of visiting this place . It has a beautiful view and we are able to see valleys from here.
